Gunmen abduct Senator in Cross River

The rising wave of insecurity in Nigeria rose its ugly head again Thursday evening as gun men again seized a former senator Patrick Ani.
Ani is a younger brother of a former Minister of Finance Anthony Ani.
He was abducted at his farm in Akpabuyo local government area of Cross River eyewitnesses say.
As at the time of filing this report by the Nigeria Politics online the police command in Calabar was yet to issue a statement on the development.
