The New Nokia 3310 Returns Back To Life With A Sleek Classic Design Photo |
The well known original equipment manufacturer, Nokia has totally sold about 126 million units of its original Nokia 3310 phone since it was first introduced way back in September, in the year 2000. However, it was a time before the iPhone era, and Nokia ruled with popular handsets that let you play simple addictive games such as the Snake, Space Impact etc. Now the Nokia 3310 is making a huge return in the form of a more sleek, modern and classic design, Well a big thanks to the Nokia-branded phone maker HMD. More also, like its predecessor (i.e the formal Nokia 3310 we all know), it will still be called the Nokia 3310, but this time it is running a Nokia’s Series 30+ software, with a 2.4-inch QVGA (Quarter Video Graphics Array) display, a 2-megapixel camera, and even with a microSD slot.

The above mentioned specs are still fairly basic by our modern phone standards any way, but that is the beauty of such a basic feature phone as the case may be. Well unlike the brick-like sturdiness of the Formal Nokia 3310, the modern variation is a little smaller, thinner, and lighter all round than the formal Nokia 3310. More also it is a lot more colorful this time around, in fact with a glossy yellow, red color, matte grey, and dark blue variations. The new Nokia 3310 is instantly recognizable as a Nokia on ones first sight, and HMD has even included a modern Snake game on the new Nokia 3310 phone just to play on the nostalgia.

Nevertheless, Opera Mini is bundled for basic web surfing we all know, but the real selling point is battery life. Just like most feature phones, the standby time on the new Nokia 3310 phone is roughly 31 days in total, alongside with a total talk time of 22 hours. That is in fact a massive amount of battery life, but as the phone is so basic you are hardly going to be wasting battery away on Snapchat or Facebook you know.
Finally HMD is seriously planning to make the new Nokia 3310 phone available in the second quarter of this year for about $52 i.e about N16510 (Nigerian Naira).
