Breaking! Court affirms Ikpeazu as Abia governor

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has affirmed Governor Okezie Ikpeazu as the substantive Governor of Abia State.

The court equally dismissed the application filed by Mr Friday Nwosu, a governorship aspirant in the December 2014 governorship primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.

Nwosu had leveled an allegation of forgery of tax documents against Ikpeazu.

He asked the court to declare him the rightful winner of the election on the party’s platform.
