Well, look for two or three people you have not seen this year and shake hands with them and say Happy New Year. And then you may be seated. The Holy Ghost service even though is taking place here; it is watched all over the world; particularly in those nations where we have the Redeemed Christian Church of God. So, the Holy Ghost service is watched in at least one hundred and ninety-two nations of the world. And so, if something is missing here, even though it may be little to us, it is a great miss to those who are far away – those in Australia, in New Zealand, in Papua New Guinea, in Vanuatu,  in Solomon Islands, those in Haiti and other nations of the world like that. So, there was a little mix up between the Television people and the one who is suppose to give them the special for today. And I have told them we will sing that song again. Because many of us did not get the words and we are singing to our Father – it is a very special song met for Abba Father. So, the choir will please come and help us. Again, we will allow the choir to sing the first verse and then we will join from the second verse. This year, none of your joy will be missing. Every one of your miracle shall be complete. That is better. Please be seated. As usual, we are going to start by addressing those who need to give their life to Jesus so that they won’t miss their miracles in the part two. God made all things in twos. In Genesis chapter 1 verse 1 to 3 – He made darkness and He made light. According to Psalm 30 verse 5 – He made sorrow and He made Joy. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. As we have night and morning; we have sorrow and joy. He made the wise and the fools; just like He made glory and shame – Proverbs chapter 3 verse 35 says the wise shall inherit glory but shame shall be the promotion of fools. You have the wise and you have the fool. And one is heading for glory; the other is heading for shame. And whether we believe it or not, He categorizes all human beings into two categories: children and dogs. Mathew 15 verse 21 to 28 – He said, I cannot give the children’s bread to dogs. We have children of God; we have dogs and you are either of two. Now, in Mathew chapter 5 verse 45, this Almighty, this God that is so difficult to fully understand allows the sun to shine on both the evil and the good. He allows the rain to fall on both the evil and the good. So, the sons and the dogs; the sinners and the saints; can cross into the new year; enjoying the same sun, the same rain fall. Why? Revelation chapter 4 verse 11 says God made all things for His pleasure. Everything He made: darkness, light; sorrow, joy; sinners, saints; children, dogs; He made everything for His pleasure. And then Proverbs 16 verse 4 says, He even make the wicked for the day of evil. He created wicked people for His special purpose: for the day of evil, so that He will have people to use as examples to show why it is not right to do evil. He made wicked for the day of evil; for the Day of Judgment; for the day of sorrow. He made all things in twos and that is my Father, and nobody can query Him; nobody can say why did you do it this way. The only thing is, as mighty as He is; as sovereign as He is; as unquestionable as He is; He leaves a door open so that the destiny of the wicked can be changed by the wicked. In Ezekiel 33 verse 14 to 16: He said, when I say to the wicked you are going to die and the wicked man say no no no, I don’t want to die; and he turns from his way and he begin to do the lawful things and begin to do what is right, God says, I will look down from heaven and I will say: alright, I said you are going to die but I change my mind, you shall live. He said, if the wicked should change his ways, all the wicked things he had ever done will not be remembered. He said, I will just forget every evil that he had ever done. He says because I have no pleasure in the death of a sinner – Ezekiel 33 verse 11: says, I have no pleasure in the death of a sinner. All I want the sinner to do is to repent and live. And that is why the Bible says in 1John chapter 1 verse 7: that the blood of Jesus cleanses from all sins. So the wicked who ends up in hell, ends up in hell because he want to. Because he has the opportunity to repent to change his ways and he refuse to do so. When we get to heaven, there will be many surprises. There would be people who you never thought will be heaven that would be there. Why? Because they had an opportunity to change and they changed. I will tell you a story and I will give you the altar call. Some of you would remember this fellow, he was an Alhaji. We met when I was in Ilorin. He heard the gospel and gave his life to Jesus. He was overwhelmed with joy and we rejoiced with him. But after three days he came back: he said, are you sure Jesus can forgive all sins? We said yes. He said, haa! Ehn! You have not heard all that I have done. The evil I have done, they are so much…; I don’t think He can forgive all. We said, haa! Have you given your life to Him? He said, yes Please, go home rejoicing, He has forgiven all. He left rejoicing. Three days later he came back: he said, you have not heard all I did. I did this; I did this; I did this; I did that. We said, once you give your life to Jesus, He gives you a brown new beginning. He went home rejoicing. He kept going on and backwards. Finally he came one day. I will tell you this one: if Jesus can forgive this one I am about to tell you, I won’t worry any more. He said, I wanted to make a charm and to make that charm I need the heart of man. He said, one of my relatives died, a young boy died and they buried him. In the night, I went there, I exhume his body; I toil the body open and toil away the heart to use for the charm. Do you think Jesus can forgive that? So I opened my Bible to 1John chapter 1 verse 7; fortunately he can read. I said, read that. The blood of Jesus Christ the Son, cleanses from all sins. I said, what is the meaning of “All”? He was quiet for a while. He said, I think all means all. I said, correct. He does not matter how many sins you have committed up till this moment; If you give your life to Jesus; not only will you be saved, you will cease to be a dog and become a son. You will cease to be somebody destined for the day of evil and become somebody destined for glory. So, if there is any one here tonight, you want to give your life to Jesus Christ, I am going to count from one to twelve – only twelve – so, those of you who are far away, you better begin to move. And those of you at the various viewing centers, this is the time to move toward the altar too. And if you are viewing in your home and you want to give your life to Jesus Christ, this is time to stand up and let Jesus know that you are standing up for salvation. There is blood that can clean from all sin; that blood is still flowing now. So, if you want to give your life to Jesus, before I count twelve, come and stand before me and we will pray for your salvation. And I am counting now. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven Good. Those of you who are already in front and those of you on the way, talk to the Jesus now. Ask Him to be mercy unto you. Ask Him to save your soul. And the rest of us let us stretch our hands towards these people and intercede for them: that the One who saved our souls, that from this moment onward they will become children. Those of you on the way, hurry up and make sure you get here before I finished praying. My Father and my God I want to bless Your holy name. I want to thank You because Your words says, no one can to You except the Father draws him. Thank You for drawing these people. And thank You for Your promise that whosoever come to You, You will in no wise cast out. They have come to you now Father, please, receive them in Jesus’ name. Save their souls today in Jesus’ name. Let Your blood wash away all their sins in Jesus’ name. Please write their names in the Book of Life in Jesus’ name. Give them a brown new beginning in Jesus’ name. From now on Lord, let them be children of the Living God; so that whenever they cry unto You, please answer them by fire in Jesus’ name. Thank You Almighty God. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen. Praise the Lord. I hope the Counselors are nearby. I want to rejoice with those of you who are here. Get somebody to write for you, the Counselor will be willing; and when you finish, you can go back to your seat after returning the card to the Counselors. God bless you. In the main time while we wait for these people, we could have some worship hymn or songs and you can praise God even for the salvation of your own soul. I thank you Counselors. Now, we want to move on to section B. Romans chapter 8, we are reading from verse 14 to 17 (Romans 8:14 to 17). While you are opening your Bibles let me encourage you that this year, you will pray like you have never done before. Because those of you who are here at the watch night service, I told you how to compel your prophecies to come to pass. And those of you who are not here, I will encourage you, get that tape. When God has spoken concerning you, there are certain things you must do for the prophecies to manifest. One of course is to believe the God who sent the word. Two is to believe the prophet through whose mouth the prophecy has come. A man is called a prophet because he speaks forth the prophecies that have come from the mouth of God to him. Then, one of the things you must do for your prophecies to come to pass is that you must fast and then you must pray, and you must avoid distractions. I am just trying to tell you some of them that I can remember off head: you need to fast; you need to pray; you need to focus on your God and ignore all others. Then, what came to you as a sound would become a reality. I am praying for every one of you here today, all the prophecies of God concerning you shall be speedily fulfilled in Jesus’ name. Now, Romans 8 from verse 14 to 17: 14) For as many that are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15) For ye have not received the Spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16) The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17) And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Abba Father What is the meaning of Abba? Everybody can call God Father because that is a general name for Him – it is a general title. Even when Jesus Christ was teaching the Disciples to pray, He said this is how you should pray: our Father which hath in heaven. The first fellow to altar the word ‘Abba’ was Jesus Himself. In Mark chapter 14 verse 36, He said, Abba Father, all things are possible with You. The word Abba is a pet name for Father that can only be use by someone very close…, in modern land when you want to say Daddy, or if you really want to get modern – you want to say Popsi. That is somebody so close that you can call him something nobody else can call him. When I started calling God Daddy in 1981, several people challenged me. They said I was being rude to God; I was being black famous. God is Father, not Daddy! I said, don’t let us quarrel. He is your Father but He is my Daddy. There is different between the two. How many of you feel you are close to God enough to call Him Daddy? Let me hear you say, Abba Father. Everyone that is born again is a child of God – 1John chapter verse 1 to 3: He said, behold beloveth, what manner of love that God as bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God. So we have a Father, the Almighty. Now, if I have a Daddy, I think I need to know Him. Who is He? Because it is important to know who your Daddy is. Knowing who your Daddy is can make a lot of difference in your life. Daniel 11 verse 32 says they that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits. Many of things I have attempted in the Name of my Daddy is because I know who He is; otherwise, it would have been madness to attempt any of them. WHO IS MY DADDY? Psalm 91 verse 1 calls Him the Most High and calls Him the Almighty – that is my Daddy. Who is my Daddy? Genesis 17 verse 1 calls Him Jehovah El-Shaddai, the God who is more than enough, the Almighty. Who is my Dad Exodus chapter 3 verse 13 and 14: He is the I AM THAT I AM. And I can go on and on talking about my Dad. There is always a tendency for me to want to boost when I talk about my Dad. But because of limited time, the next thing we ought to know about our Dad is WHAT HAS HE? Because the Bible says, I am heir of God, a joint heir with Christ – so, I need to have a rough idea of what I can inherit – ‘What has my Dad?’ Psalm 24 verse says: the earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof – everything that is inside the earth belong to my Daddy. Haggai chapter 2 verse 8, my Dad said, silver is mine; gold is mine. So, whatever money you have in your pocket is my Dad who gave you. Psalm 50 verse 10 tells me that the cattle upon a thousand hills belong to my Daddy. Psalm 62 verse 11 says, God has spoken once, twice have I heard it that power belongs to God (not to witches and wizards) – power belong to my Daddy 1chronicle chapter 29 verse 12 says, both riches and honour come of Thee – that is talking about my Daddy. He said, thou reigneth over all – He is the Supreme ruler. He said, in His hand is the power and might to make great – that is my Daddy. So, I know what He has. I know who He is; I know what He has. The next question of course is: WHAT CAN HE DO? My Daddy can do practically anything – practically anything. I thank God for some of the testimonies we have already heard; and we have not heard anything yet that He could ask me to lay hands on some handkerchiefs, give it to the Pastors to lay on the people, told the Pastors to take the handkerchiefs home, and then, far away from here, that handkerchief is raising the dead – that is my Daddy. That is what He can do; that is what He can do – anything. Luke 1:37 – with God nothing shall be impossible. Jeremiah 32 verse 27, He said, He is the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for Him? -that is my Daddy. In Mathew 19 verse 26, He says, what is impossible with man is possible with God. Okay. WHAT HAS MY DADDY DONE BEFORE? Because when somebody is applying for a job, they ask for the CV. They want to know his track records. And I can begin to tell you lots and lots of things that my Daddy has done. Exodus 14 verse 21 to 28: He made away where there was no way in the Red Sea. Exodus 17 verse 6: He brought water out of the rock – my Father can produce something out of nothing. Where you are seated now is an example of producing something out of nothing – that is my Daddy. I was telling someone not too long ago. When we came to this camp ground, it was the headquarters of highway robbers; nobody wanted to live near here at all. The only other things that are common here were pythons, big snakes, 6meters long, big like a palm trees; nobody wanted this area, but my Daddy said, this is where I have for you; He said, I am going to build a city for you. We came here when an acre of land was being sold for one thousand naira because nobody wanted it. And look at what my Daddy has turned the place too now. He can produce something out of nothing. So, I have good news for somebody here today, right now they may consider you as nothing, before you die, the world will celebrate you. What has my Father done? Throughout the congress we were looking at Ezekiel 37 from verse 1 to 10 – This same God we are talking about can make dry bones lives again. After the congress, Daddy began to show me several things that I did not even see before in the same Ezekiel 37 verse 1 to 10. It was as if we should go back and look at thing again. But He said son, the one for the masses they have already received; the remainder is for you. In order words, He is saying to anyone who have been here today, don’t you ever believe it when they tell you your case is hopeless because there is no hopeless cases with my Daddy. He can make dry bones live again. Now, this is where we need to get ready to pray. WHAT CAN I EXPECT AS A SON FROM MY DADDY? Because what I can expect from my Daddy is determined by: who He is; what He has; what He can do; what He has done before. What I can expect from my Daddy is determined by those things I have already mentioned. Some children are playing in Ilesha several years ago. One of the came to me and say Daddy, I want a new pair of shoes for Christmas. I said okay, what is the size of your leg, of your feet. I said, you will get your shoes for Christmas. He ran out and told all his colleges: I have shoe, brown new shoes for Christmas. One of them said, who told you that. Lagos Papa And one of them also said, yeah, I also have new shoes for Christmas. And they ask him, who told you? He said, my father. They said that is joking shoes. If it is Lagos Papa that said you have shoes, you have shoes. If it is your Dad, he is just joking with you. I have a God who can never fail; when He speaks it is done. How many of you believe that this year, it is going to be well with you? Let me hear you shout hallelujah. So, what can I expect as a child from my Dad? Number One) What can I expect from the One who is called the Most High? What can I expect from the One who according to Ecclesiastes chapter 5 verse 8 is Higher than the highest? I can expect Promotion. Because according to 1Samuel chapter 2 verse 7 to 8:  Bible says my Father rises up one and push down another. He makes poor and make rich. He makes low and He lifts up. My Father is so powerful according to what is written that He can pick up a beggar from the dunghill and make him seat among princes – that is my Dad. So, I can expect promotion from him. Not too long ago, there was a state occasion some three or four years ago and all the great people were there; and by the time I was walking in, you know in a situation like that, every chair is labeled; and they began to lead me forward. I was wondering where they are taking me because I was looking in the direction of my colleagues; in fact, I cannot call them my colleagues, they are my elder brothers: the Bishops, the Apostles. But they took me straight to go and seat at the same table with the Head of State and I remember the word: He can pick up a beggar from the dunghill and cause him to seat among princes. There is somebody here tonight, before you die you will seat with princes. From my Father who is Higher than the highest, I can expect uncommon promotion. Daniel was a slave, but according to Daniel chapter 6 verse 1 to 3, he became one of the three topmost men in the nation – that is unusual promotion for a slave. I can expect rapid promotion, not just uncommon, but rapid. According to 1Samuel chapter 16 verse 11 to 13, the Bible says, one night David slept as a shepherd boy, by the following day he was a king – that is rapid promotion. I want to decree to somebody here tonight, this year your promotion shall be rapid. I can expect continuous promotion. I have always told you; I think I have given you the illustration before, how high I can lift this tambourine, is determined by how tall I am. If I want it to go high…; now, where it is now…, I think the camera should show us the tambourine. Thank you. If I want it to go high, I can go on my toes. But after some times, my toes will begin to pain me and I will go down on my feet, by then, the tambourine has come down lower. After some time, my hand will be paining me and I will bring it lower down still. When human beings promote you, they will bring you down. But when my Daddy promotes you…, because the Bible says, His arms are everlasting arms; your promotion will be continuous. I can expect from my Father the Most High, permanent, irreversible promotion. Oh thank You Father. The Lord says there is somebody here tonight, He said, since the beginning of the year, your cry to God has been help me Lord, help me Lord; He ask me to tell you,  I will help you. Daddy asks me to tell someone, He said, this year 2017, the garment of shame will be permanently removed from you. I said I can expect permanent irreversible promotion. Deuteronomy 28 verse 13 says, you will be above only and not beneath; you will be head and not be tail – permanent promotion. Thank You Father. The Lord said, there is someone here tonight who thought he has come because it is the first Holy Ghost service of the year, He said let me tell you, you have come to have an encounter Me. So, what can I expect from my Father the Most High? Promotion – and there is no promotion like spiritual promotion because that is the one that is most permanent. One day in America, we are coming down in a Lift and there was a young man there with us in the Lift and several others. And Mummy wanted to speak to that young man and said, hey, Pastor, this this this. All the other boys with us in the Lift said, no no, Mummy, he is not a Pastor, he has just become a Deacon. Now, I know some people, you must have heard from some people say that if you want to become a Pastor join the Redeemed, within six month you will become a Pastor. I always laugh. Let them come and find out. Those of you who are in, you know. You know how many years before you can become a Deacon. You know how many years you can move from a Deacon to Assistant Pastor. You know how many years after you become Assistant Pastor before you become a Pastor. So when Mummy mistakenly called that young man Pastor; all the others say no no no, he has just become a Deacon. And I heard God say to me loud and clear: ordain him a Pastor. My Commander-in-Chief has spoken, the Owner of the church has spoken, and when He speaks, there is no protocol. When He speaks, there are no rules and regulations. When He says this is what I want, that is what will happen. Stand on your feet; lift your voice to the Almighty God and say: Father, regardless of rules and regulations, promote me this year. Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God. Regardless of human rules, human regulations, promote me speedily my Father, You are the Most High. Promote me speedily. Promote me eternally. Promote me permanently. Regardless of human rules and regulations, just move me higher. Promote me Lord. Promote me speedily. Regardless of human rules, human regulations, human laws; regardless of named protocol, just promote me this year Father. Promote me. Promote me particularly spiritually, I want to be closer to You this year; much more closer to You than ever before; promote me speedily. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. And so shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. What can I expect from the One who is called the Almighty? I can expect victory without a fight. Why? Because my Father is the Lord of host – He controls all host in heaven, in earth, underneath the earth (Psalm 24 verse 7 to 10) Philippians 2: 19 to 11 says, at the mention of His name, all knees bow. Daniel chapter 3, they threw Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego into the fiery furnace… What fight can you fight when they bind you and throw you into the fire anyway? But they landed in the fire and the only thing that got burnt was the ropes that bound them. In the Name that is above every other name, before Sunday morning, any yokes that maybe left in your life will already be consumed. They threw Daniel into the den of lions, hungry lions; and the only people who got eaten by the lions were the enemies who threw in Daniel. As a matter of fact, by the time they brought up Daniel from the den of lion, it was promotion. I just have that feeling within me…, I am not saying thus says the Lord now, this is me now talking from a conviction deep within me; that all those who have been standing in the way of your promotion, unless they repent, they shall become food for the lions. In 2Chronicles chapter 20 verse 1 to 25 – when God saw one young king that was good very well but he was poor, he decided that the three richest kings in the neighbor should combine their armies, come with their wealth, to come and attack him. And when the little king heard about it, he said, haa, O God I am finished. God said don’t worry yourself, you won’t even have to fight; I will fight for you and the wealth of sinners will change hands. That will be the testimony of some here today. By the time the enemies finished themselves, the Bible tells me, for this, all the people belonging to this new king were carrying loads of money from the enemy. You know I use to make a prophecy long ago…; probably the reason it has not come to pass is because nobody was bold enough to receive it. Now, I believe your faith has grown, so I am going to repeat it: that one day, when you take your money to the bank, they will close their door to other customers. Victory without a fight I can give you several examples but I think what we should do is just pray straight away. Stand up on your feet and lift your voice to the Almighty God…, and I beg you pray, pray with all your heart; and say: Father, this year in particular, fight my battles for me. Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God.                                                           Fight my battles for me. Fight my battles for me O Lord. Fight my battles for me. I want victory without a fight. You just do the fighting Lord while I just do the enjoying. Fight my battles for me. Fight my battles for me. Fight my battles for me. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. In you believe you are going to be victorious, shout a big hallelujah. You can please be seated. What can I expect from the one who is called the Helper of the helpless? That is my Dad. Because David said in Psalm 122 verse 1 to 2 – he said, I will lift up my eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help, my helps come from the Lord who made heaven and earth. I have a Father; He is the Helper of the helpless. The Bible calls Him the Ever present help in time of trouble (Psalm 46 verse 1) What can I expect from the Helper of the helpless? Among other things, I can expect total security. What do you mean by total security? You can try to protect yourself when you are awake; can you protect yourself when you are at sleep? Many at times we think we are secured because we have security guards. Haa! Security guards are human beings; they too fall asleep. Years ago…, things have change now; but years ago we finish a convention on Sunday. And then in the night, around 2:00am, I decided to go round the Camp praying thanking God for the convention; I did not see a single guard. As I was going round, I saw one seating on a chair fast asleep. I sat next to him but when he was trying to drive away a mosquito, he nearly slapped me – So, I got up quickly and left. I walked about two kilometers and I saw another one; This one did not even pretend. He arranged four chairs removed the shoes and lay flat. I wanted to take his shoes and the touch light away, but then, I heard God says, son, you yourself you should be sleeping now. So, I left the fellow alone. But I thank God I have a Father who neither sleeps, who neither slumbers – I can trust Him for complete security. If He is your Father, let me hear you shout hallelujah. In Psalm 121 verse 3, He said, you won’t stumble, you won’t fall. In Psalm 121 verse 8, He said whether you are going out or you are coming in, He will keep you. In Psalm 121 verse 6 and 7, He said, you will have to worry nothing about danger whether day or night. In Psalm 91 verse 5 to 10, He said, you will have nothing to fear whether seen danger or unseen ones Total security from my Daddy Some of you will remember the testimony I gave you years ago. When I was in Ilorin, in those days, you can go from one end of Ilorin to another in 15minutes – no traffic jam at all So, I always went to the University and then returned for lunch and go back for my lectures. So I came home one, after I finished my food, I looked at the time; I still have some time I could rest before I return to the University. But I did not want to go and lie down on the bed so that I won’t fell asleep completely and forget myself. So laid on the couch in the living room; and because I was Pastor there, member from the congregation from time to time they come in and out of the house. So that they won’t great me, I closed my eye, pretending to be asleep. And all of a sudden…, I was putting my two hands to support my head; all of a sudden, I felt somebody holding my two hands with one hand and my two  legs with another hand; and I could feel that whatever-it-is about to kiss me. At first I thought could it be my wife? No. My wife won’t do that in the open where people are coming and going. Number two: the fellow who can stretch one hand to hold my two hands by my head, my two legs down there, must be huge fellow. So, I opened my eyes and the thing disappeared. Haa! God what is this? And I felt a very horrible coldness all over my body. Well, I dropped it aside; I got into my car; drove to the University; did my evening lectures. By the time I finish the lecture, by the time I got into my car, I was dying. By the miracle of God, I drove home. But I practically had to crawl out of my car to the toilet where I started vomiting and stooling and … Haha! Almighty God, what is going on? I am Your son; how can this happen to me? And I heard Him say, I just want give you a glimpse of the battles I fight for you without your knowing. Haa! Thank You Lord. And I became well immediately. I want you to stand on your feet; I want you to lift your voice to the Almighty God loud and clear and say: Daddy, please keep me secure forever. Go ahead talk to the talk to the Almighty God. Keep me secure forever; from enemies known and unknown; from enemies seen and unseen, keep me secure forever. Keep me secure forever. Oh! There are enemies you don’t know about; there are enemies that can pass through close doors but thank God for the One who keep us, who will neither sleep nor slumber; He can keep you secure forever. Keep me secure forever. Keep me secure. Almighty God, Keep me secure forever. I know that there are dangers everywhere; there are dangers from my Father’s house, dangers from my mother’s house, danger’s from husband’s house, dangers from wife’s house, danger in the place of work, everywhere Father just keep me secure forever. Keep me secure forever. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Place be seated. What can I expect from the One who is called the Great Counselor? Because according to Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6, the name of my Father is not just Wonderful but Counselor. I can expect from Him divine guidance. Because as I go through this year and the other years ahead, from time to time I need to know what to do; where to go; where to turn; which door to knock at; etcetera etcetera Because according to 1Corithians chapter 10 verse 23, He said, while all things might be lawful, not all things are expedient. Proverbs 14 verse 12, says, there is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is the ways of death. So, how do I go through the rest of my life without making mistakes? Isaiah chapter 30 verse 21 says, you will hear a word behind you saying this is the way. This is where you should turn to the right. This is where to turn to the left. Because if He is guiding you, like in the passage we read as the text: as many that are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God; if He is guiding you, you won’t fall into a trap. Those of us who grew up in the villages, we know how to catch Rodents and Rabbits – we set a trap and put a bat. The animal sees the bat and not the trapped and sees the bat as God’s provision. It is when the trap snapshot that he realizes that this is devil’s provision. Anything that the enemy may want to us to lure you into a trap this year, the enemy will fail. In Acts 16 verse 6 to 10 – Paul and Silas wanted to go Asia, God said, no. That seems to be the right to do; You said we should go to all the world! He said, I said so, but for you that is not my plan. It is good to be able to be guided by God. I was seating in my office at Ebute Metta when a young man – prosperous looking young man, came in for prayers and counseling. By the time we finish he was talking the conference that was going to take place in America. I said, wow, who are the speakers? So and so and so I said, O that is going to be a wonderful conference. Suddenly he said, would you like to go? I said, ye; but I don’t have the money. O that is no problem, I will pay the money – I will buy the ticket; I will pay for your accommodation; I will pay for your feeding; I will even give you some pocket money. Haa! Lord, thank You. Open heavens I collected information; I was glad. I pray for you my brothers and sisters, the ability to know when the enemy is presenting you with poison; you receive it tonight in Jesus’ name. He left my office and left. And I was saying thank you O my God how good you are. Suddenly he spoke and said, son, you are not going. Haa! I almost said why? Because if He says so: you are not going; that settles it, I am not going. I said, this is something that will benefit me spiritually, that will help the work I am doing. He said you are not going. Okay Lord. I waited a little bit for the man to get home…, because in those days there were no mobile phones; and I picked the land phone and I phoned him. I am sorry Sir; I won’t be able to go on that trip. Why not? Haa, sorry Sir, my Daddy said no. He went; he came back. Two weeks later or so, it was news because the young man was working in the central bank; it has been discovered that he had been stealing a lot of government money and they discover that part of the money is what he even used for the journey he had just gone. Can you imagine me? Pastor Adeboye went to America on money stolen from Central Bank. Stand on your feet and cry to the Almighty God and say: Father, for the rest of my life, guide me every step of the way. Guide me Lord. Guide me. Teach me when to say no; teach me when to say yes; teach me when to turn right; teach me when to turn left; guide me all the way. Guide me every step of the way. Guide me every step of the way. Please guide me every step of the way. Guide me every step of the way. Guide me every step of the way. Guide me Almighty. Guide me every step of the way. Every step of the way, guide me. For the rest of my life, let me know what to do so that I don’t fall into the trap of the enemy, guide me. Guide me every step of the way. Guide me. Guide me every step of the way. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be. Please be seated. Thank You Father. The Lord says there is someone here tonight. He asked me to tell you to stop thinking of death; I have not finish with you yet. He said there is someone here tonight; He said by the time the first rain of the year falls, your harvest will begin. Haa, this is my own. The Lord says there is someone here tonight, He said, whether you are coming in or you are going out, you will always have something to rejoice about. It is as if He is about to conclude the evening with me. The Lord says there is someone here tonight, He said, one of the surprises that you are going to get is that you are going to live in divine health throughout this year. I like that. Amen Lord. Daddy says there is somebody here tonight, He said those who have the ability to help you will be willing and they will be eager this year. Okay. There are so many other things I can talk about but I need to round up because of other meetings early in the morning. What do I expect from the one whose name is I AM THAT I AM? Because that is what He says His name is in Exodus chapter 3 verse 13. Haa! Amen. Daddy says there is someone here, He said, last year you are running, this year you will be flying. Oh Lord! I want to say amen and amen to this one. Daddy says there is someone here tonight, He said, you will be one of the first hundred to receive a mighty pleasant surprise. Okay. Now, what do I expect of the One who is I AM THAT I AM. All I can expect is that wherever I go He will be there with me because He is I AM THAT I AM – not I was; not I will be; but I AM. When you consider the story of Joseph you will understand. When the boy was at home God was with him: he was the favorite of his father (Genesis 37 verse 3) When He was Potiphar’s house (Genesis 39 verse 1 to 6) as a slave, God was with him. He was slave but he became Managing Director in the house of his slave master. When he was thrown into prison for an offence he did not commit (Genesis 39 verse 20 to 23), the Lord was with him there because the Jailer put everything in his charge. And like somebody said, if you are the one in charge in the prison, the prison life will not be as bad as with others. Because he was the one sharing the food; he was the one giving instructions – God was with him. And then of course, he got a rapid promotion from prisoner, he became President. You have heard the story before of the three fishes; For those of us you who have never heard it before I will tell it. There were these three small fishes in an ocean and in the ocean there were two sharks (mother shark; baby shark) terrorizing every fish in the ocean – just eating every fish they can find. So, these three fishes held a prayer meeting; they call on God to come down: Lord, come down we want to talk. So, the Lord came and said yes, what do you want? The first fish said, what I want is that every part of my body will be ice, every skin become an ice so that I see behind me, see to my right, see to my left; before the shark can come near me I will have seen the fellow; so, I will be able to escape. The Lord said, are you sure that is what you want? He said, yes. That is okay, you got it. Second said, I want wings – two pair of wings so that I can fly. So, if the shark should come after me, I will just fly out of the water and they cannot fly. The Lord said, is that what you want? He said yes. Okay, you got it. Then He turned to the third fish and what do you want? That one said, all I want is that wherever I go, You go with me. The Lord said Okay. And so, the Lord left. And immediately He left: the fish who wanted ice had ice all over the body; the one who wanted pairs of wings – two strong wings. Not long after that the sharks began to hunt and the first fish they saw is the one with many ices – oh! What a beautiful fish; And they began to swim toward it; and he swam rapidly to the beach and he could see a little pool of water away from the ocean on the beach – because of so many ice, he could see and so, he made one big jump and landed in that little pool of water and began to laugh at the sharks: come and get me if you can. But then soon, the sun rose; the little pool of water dried; and fish with many ice died. When the sharks find out that the fish with many ice had escape, they turn round to look for another one and they found the one with two wings. And as they began to push that one, it flew out of the ocean and began to laugh: you cannot fly; come and get me if you can. But at that moment, an eagle was flying overhead and looked and says: what am I seeing? This is a fish. O Lord, how good you are: I have always wanted to eat fish but I cannot swim. Now, you have brought one to me in my domain. So, the fish with two wings ended up in the stomach of the eagle. And then, the baby shark said to the mother shark, hey, there is a third one here, he is not even afraid of us; just roaming about as if we don’t exist; let us go and get it. And the mother said to the little shark, are you blind? Can’t you see wherever this fish goes, the shadow of man is following him? You go near that fish; the man whose shadow you see will kill you. The Bible says, the Lord is your shield on your right hand. Stand on your feet and cry to the Almighty God and say: Father, everywhere I go this year, just go with me. Open your mouth and pray. Everywhere I go, please go with me; go with me Lord. Everywhere I go, go with me. This year, everywhere I turn to be there. If I turn to the left be there with me. If I turn to the right, be there with me. Anywhere You are not going to follow me go, don’t let me go there. Father, please abide with me every step of the way this year. Abide with me, everywhere I go, please go with me; please go with me; please go with me; please go with. Everywhere I go this year, go with me O Lord; go with me O Lord. Everywhere I go, please go with me. Thank You Father. Everywhere I go, go with Lord; go with me my Father and my God. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. Now comes the question, WHAT DOES MY FATHER EXPECT FROM ME? We have been talking about what I can expect from my Daddy. What does my Father expect from me if I am good son; if I am true son? Like the man who took the offering said in Malachi chapter I verse 6 – God said, a son honoureth his father. If I Am your father, where is My honour? God expect you to honour Him. He does not expect a son to disgrace Him. No father will expect disgrace from his son. When a son did something to his father too long ago somewhere and we said your son did so so and so. He said, no, no no, not my son. So so and so by name He said, haa that is a bastard. You will never be called a bastard. Because God said in 1Samuel chapter 2 verse 30 – he who honour Me I will honour. He who disgraces Me, I will disgrace – that is another language. He expect you to honour him (Proverbs chapter 3 verse 9 to 10) That is why the Bible says: honour the Lord with your first fruit – it is a honour to Him; not that He is in need – honour your Dad. A father does not expect you to rob him. No good son will steal his father’s money. The few places where God got so angry that He pronounce a curse on those who are suppose to be His children is in Malachi chapter 3 verse 8 to 11. That’s why He said, why are you robbing Me? Then, He said okay if you chose to rob Me; then I will curse you. God expects you – as a son, as a daughter – not to rob Him of His tithes and offering. God expects you to boast about Him. Psalm 119 verse 14 says: David said, I will witness about You without shame. I will tell everybody who my Father is; what He can do; what He has done and I will do it without shame. When you say the reason you cannot witness to sinners is because you are ashamed; you are telling God you are ashamed of Him – that is dangerous. God expects you to be actively involved in the Family business. He expects you to be building His kingdom along with Him. He expects you to be Labourers together with God. Zechariah chapter 1 verse 17, He said, through your prosperity my city shall yet be build. He expects you as a son to be involved in the building of His kingdom. God expects you as a true child of God to make your Father happy (Luke 15 verse 10). Like I told some of you during the Let’s-go-and-fishing Programme; every time a soul is saved, Jesus gets up and dances before the angels every time a soul is saved. He dances. The Bible says, there is rejoicing before the angels. Who is the one rejoicing? The Saviour – Haa! another sinner has come home. Haa! my effort is not in vain. Haa! My blood is working again. Every time you win a sinner to Christ, Jesus gets up and dances. He expects you to make your Father happy. I am sure of course you know, this is most likely where we will be ending for now. He expects you to be holy. Why? Like Father, like Son. 1Peter chapter 1 verse 15 and 16: as He who as called you is holy, so, be ye holy in all manner of conversation. For it is written, be ye holy, for I Am holy. Don’t disgrace your Father; don’t steal from Him; honour Him; be partakers of the family business which is soul winning, building churches, establishing parishes, that is called family business and be holy for He is holy. Because this is the first Holy Ghost service in the year, I am going to give about ten minutes to come before Abba Father and ask Him for mighty things for 2017. Let me assure you of one thing, my God is more than sufficient to meet all your needs. Anything you can ask for, His name is Jehovah El-Shaddai, the God who is more than enough. So, the altar is open; I will give you ten minute if you want to come to the altar you can come – and come and talk to God. This year Abba Father, You are my Daddy, this is what I want You to do for me. I want You to show Yourself mighty on my behalf. I want You to fight my battles for me. I want You to accelerate my promotion. I want You to give me the grace to do Your will. To please You Abba Father. This year do for me what You have never done before. Let us go ahead and talk to the Lord In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. The God I served, my own Daddy, will grant all your request. Because my Daddy is the Most High, He will promote you. Because He is the Lord of host, He will fight your battles for you. Because He is the great Counselor, throughout this year He will guide you. Because He is the Helper of the helpless, wherever your help may be hanging, He will bring it speedily. All those who should help you who are withholding the help, until they release it they won’t be able to rest. Wherever you go this year, my Daddy will go with you. You will not fall into the trap. Every plan of the enemy concerning you shall fail. It shall be well with you. The grace to please Him, the grace to win souls, the grace to establish churches, receives it right now in Jesus’ name. In all your actions this year, God shall be glorified. God shall be honoured. And He will honour you in return. It shall be well with you and your joy shall be full. Thank You Father. Let us lift our hands to the most High God and just begin to bless His holy name. Let us give Him glory, let us give Him honour, let us give Him adoration. Bless His holy name for yet another month. Give Him glory, give Him honour, give Him adoration. He is worthy, He is worthy, He is worthy to be praised, He is worthy to be adored. Give Him glory, give Him honour, give Him adoration. O Yes Father, we just want to bless Your holy name; glorify Your holy name again and again as You have always done. We bless Your name. You are worthy to be praised, You are worthy to be adored, You are worthy to be magnified. Thank You Jesus. We bless Your holy name. We bless Your holy name. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Lord. On a daily basis Lord, give me pleasant surprises throughout this month – pleasant surprises; beautiful surprises; glorious surprises, marvelous surprises, divine surprises. Father, this month on a daily basis, give me pleasant surprises, mighty surprises, the kind that only You can give. Let this month be a month of very very pleasant surprises for me. Thank You for yet another month; thank You because we will survive this year – Father accept our thanks in Jesus’ name. In the lives of everyone of Your children: those who are here; those who are watching at the various view centers all over the world; let this month be a month of pleasant surprises. On a daily basis, Father, surprise us: with miracles, with signs, with wonders, with breakthroughs surprise us. And tonight in a very very special way my Father and my God, let the surprises begin. At the end of it all, take all the glory. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen. Well, let somebody shout hallelujah. Shake hands with two or three people and tell them: God will surprise you tonight. And then, you may please be seated. Now, as usual, our discussion tonight will be in two sections: Section A – we want to talk to those who are yet to give their lives to Jesus. So, they can do so; so that they can partake blessings in section B. In John chapter 8 verse 25, Jesus Christ said something about servants and sons. He said, servants don’t abide in the house forever; only sons abide in the house forever. And I am sure you know that is true. Now, how come that servant does not abide in the house forever? Many a times it is not even the fault of the master at all. No matter how good the master may be; no matter how loving, how caring, there is still something in the heart of the servant that says: I do not really belong here – the servant still want to go to his own house; he wants to go back to his own home. The Master house may be a palace; the servant birth place might be a hut, there is something inside the servant that says: this is not your place, you must go back; but the son abides forever. Now, because the son abides forever; if you move that to the level of Sons of God, dramatic implications are there. For example, Psalm 91 verse 1 says, he that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. If you are a son of God and you are one of those abiding forever, you will be under the shadow of the Almighty. Meaning what? Meaning that you get divine coverage – wherever you, God will be there watching over you, covering you. Psalm 91 verse 4 says that the Almighty God will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you can trust. Now, those of you who are not from villages, you may not really understand that. In village, when a mother hen had some little chicks, and they are feeding – the chicks are young, they don’t even know what is called danger, they only see food and they are going about eating. But the mother hen look down will suddenly see a shadow, the shadow of an eagle flying overhead and immediately the mother hen will make a sound to the little chicks: come, come, come; and they will run to the mother hen and she will spread her wings and cover the chicks. The eagle that is flying overhead is looking for a chicken to eat but when he looks down, he sees one big hen – too big to carry; so he flies away to go and look for prey elsewhere and then the little chick can come out and continue to enjoy. When you are a child of the Almighty God, long before troubles come to you, He sees the trouble, He spread His wings, He ask you to come and let me cover you with My feathers. That is why I can assure you, it does not matter how many storms will be coming this year; it does not matter how many troubles will be coming this year; if you are a child of God, you are covered. If you go to Psalm 91 verse 7 to 9, the Bible says, if you are a child of God, you will only be observing what is happening to others, ten thousand may fall at left hand side, they won’t come near you at all – you will be observing them with your eyes – this is what I called Divine Insurance Policy. When you are a child of God, yes! Trouble may happen to others but you will be spared. The Bible says in Psalm 27 verse 5, He said, in the time of trouble, He will hide me. In other words, trouble will come; when comes, God will hide me in the His Pavilion. I remember a time when I was living in Mushin and terrible things were happening in Mushin in those days – I believe Mushin has changed now; but in those days in the early 80s, Mushin could be pretty rough. And so, we decided…, those of us in the street, the compound; … decided to set up a group called Vigilante. Do you know nobody put one of his children among the vigilante. All the vigilante they were servants; the children were lying save and secure in their father’s bedroom. God keeps His own in His pavilion – trouble may be happening outside but it won’t come near the children. Some people have said what about the evil that came to Job? I said, read the book of Job very well. In Job chapter 1 verse 8 to 12, God said to Satan, have you observe my servant Job? My what? Servant Job You can perform experiment with a servant; you won’t perform experience with your son. The only things permitted to come near sons are Goodness and Mercy. Satan said let us test him. God said no problem, you can test, I know he will pass. But God will never say to Satan, go and inflict my son. Sons are never used for experiment. But just one more thing before I give those of you who are yet to become sons and daughters opportunity to become one. Do you know everyone in this world is looking forward to something? At the end of our race here on earth: Sons are looking forward to Rewards; 2Timothy chapter 4 verse 8, Paul said, I have finished my race; I have finished my everything I need to do; from now on I am looking forward to my coronation; I am looking forward to the reward that the Almighty God has for me and not for me alone and for all other children of God. But for those who are not children of God, they are looking forward to Judgment. The Bible says in Hebrew chapter 9 verse 27, He said, it is appointed unto man once to die and after that comes judgment. So, if you have not yet surrender your life to Jesus – if you are not yet one of the sons of God; when you leave this world, you are looking forward to judgment. If you are a child of God, when you leave this world, you are looking forward to reward. Now, which of the two do you prefer – Reward or Judgment? And the choice is yours. So, if you are here and you have not yet surrender your life to Jesus Christ; we are going to pray briefly for three or four minutes to give you an opportunity to surrender your life to Jesus Christ; so that the issue of your salvation will be settle; so that you too can become a child of God; so that as you go along, God decide to say there is someone here, you will be qualified to receive it from the Almighty God. But if you are not a child of God, you can hear all the prophecies. The only prophecy for someone who is not a child of God is judgment is coming. So, if you want to give your life to Jesus Christ, I am going to count from one to ten very quickly. Come; surrender your life to Jesus; and I will pray for your salvation. As you are coming here; in all other viewing centers: in the old arena and in all other viewing centers all over the world; you too can move forward, surrender your life Jesus and the prayer will pray here will cover you all. Now, I am counting. One, two, Now, don’t wait for your friend; your friend might not be interested, it might be you that God is speaking too. Come; surrender your life to Jesus; let the blood of Jesus Christ cover you and wash away your sins. And then, the Almighty God himself said, when I see the Blood, I will cover you. When trouble is coming, and trouble sees the blood, it will pass over you. Three, four, I know some of you are far away, you have to move a little faster. Five, six, And those of you in the old arena, you just move towards the Altar too, Pastors are there, they will attend to you. God want to save your soul tonight, don’t miss the opportunity. Seven, Counselors, please, begin to come. Eight, nine, Now, those of you who are already in front and those of you who are on the way, talk to the Almighty God. Tell Him, I want to become one of Your children O Lord. Save my soul. Let Your blood wash away my sin. I will serve you from now on. Please save my soul, write my name in the Book of Life. Be my Lord, be my Saviour and I will serve with all my heart for the rest of my life. And the rest of us let us stretch our hands towards our new brothers and sisters and intercede for, that the One who saved our own soul will save their souls also. Let us pray for them. And those of you who are on the way, you have to hurry up now because I will soon be praying for salvation. Let us pray for them for a minute or so, that the Almighty God will wipe away all their sins with His powerful blood; that He will write their names in the Book of Life; that they will also become members of the family of God from today onward. Please pray for them. Thank You Father. And those of you on the way, just make sure you get here before I finish praying and it will be okay. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Saviour, I just want to say thank You for Your word. I want to thank You for these Your children who have come forward to surrender their life to You. Father, please remember your promise that whosoever will come unto You, You will in no wise cast out. They have come to You Father, please receive them in Jesus’ name; save their souls Lord; let Your blood wash away their sins; and please write their names in the Book of Life. And I pray Lord God Almighty that from now they will serve You till the end. And Lord God Almighty, don’t let them go back into sin. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen. Praise the Lord. Now, those of you in front I want to rejoice with you and I want to tell you by the grace of God from now on I will be praying for you. So, I am going to need your names, your address and your prayer request. Romans chapter 8 we will read from verse 14 to 15 (Romans 8:14 to 15): 14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15) For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. We are discussing Abba Father part 2. You see, there are categories of sons; why everybody may want to call God Daddy, not all are allowed to enjoy the privilege of such intimacy. Not even everyone who says God is my father is regarded by God as His child. There is a proverb where I come from: they said, every Ijesha is the son of Owa. But when the sun set, Owa knows how many children come to his to sleep. Everybody would want to call God father; some of us may even want to go ahead and call him Daddy; but it is not everyone God looks down and say ehyah, that is my son! yeah, that is my girl! Jesus told a story in Mathew 21 verse 28 to 31 – He said a father has two sons: he came to the first one and said son, I want you to go to my farm and work. That boy said no, I am not going. So, he went to the second one and said son, I want you to go to my farm and work. He said, yes Daddy I will go. After some time, the first son repented and went to the farm to work. The second son who said I will go, did not go. Two sons: the first one repentance; the second one deceptive. But even the first one cause his father some anguish – the father said go to my farm and work, he said, he is not going – at the very least you call that one a rude son. The second one you don’t even want to talk about him at all: he told the father I will go, but he did not go. And there is a third son that is the one telling the story – that is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the One that the Father said, go to my farm and work and He said, I will go and he went. So, there are actually three sons: one was rude but repented; the other was totally deceptive; and the one who said, I will go and he went. He is the one who said (the third son), He is the One who said in Mathew 26 from verse 39 to 42 – He is the who said, Father, thy will not mine be done – even when it is not convenient; Daddy whatever you want that is what I will do. And that is why in Mathew chapter 3 verse 16 to 17, God said, this is my beloveth son in whom I AM well pleased. And like I told you last month, the first fellow ever to use the word Abba in reference to God was Jesus Christ. The son in whom the Father is well pleased is the One who qualifies to call God Daddy – a special son; a loving son; an obedient son; a son who will do the will of His Father any time, any place; whether convenient or inconvenient. If God is to look down from heaven tonight and say, haa, this is my beloveth child in whom AM well pleased. How many of you would want to say God, let that be me? Is anyone here who will want God to say hey, that is my beloveth child in whom AM well pleased. If you agree that is the kind of person you want to be, let me hear your amen. Now, when God finds a special son, qualified to call Him Daddy, dramatic things happen in the life of such a child; and I am going to very briefly discuss about seven or so of them tonight – just to let you know that if you qualify to call God Abba, you can expect certain things from Him that may not be available to other people who can just call Him Father. And we are going to compare two people: Jesus Christ that God Himself said, this is my beloveth son in whom I AM well pleased and Paul, the Apostles – because everything, both of them qualified to call God Abba Father. In Philippians chapter 2 verse 5 to 8 – Jesus Christ humbled Himself all the way to the point of death just to satisfy His Father. In Philippians 1 verse 21- Paul the Apostles said, for me to live is Christ, to die is gain. In other words, he was simply saying in living or dying I will do the will of my Father. Now, when you compare these two, you get some deep insight; particularly if you read, Acts chapter 16 from verse 25 to the end – you know the story: Paul and Silas were imprisoned and they were going to kill them the following day; at midnight, Paul and Silas began to sing and they began to praise God, and they things began to happen. What is the first thing you can expect from Abba Father? If you are qualified to call God Abba Father, the first thing you can expect is that God will shake the heaven and the earth to make sure He meets your needs. Because as Paul and Silas were sing and praising God, suddenly there was an earthquake. Just as there was an earthquake in Mathew 28 verses 1 and 2: Jesus Christ was buried; there was a huge stone rolled across the mouth of the grave to make sure He will not be able to even come out if He should arise from the dead; but, the Almighty sent an earthquake. In the case of Paul and Silas, God sent an earthquake that shook the prison to the foundation. The Bible says, the prison doors were flung open and every man’s bound was lose. And Joel chapter 3 verse 16 assures me that concerning any of His special children, the Almighty God will roar out of Zion; He will alter His voice from Jerusalem. When we talk about earthquake coming from the Almighty God, earthquake can come in various forms: It could come with the shaking of the ground. It can come with the shaking of the whole system. And I am believing God that God is about to send an earthquake to someone tonight. I will give you an example that you will remember. One of our children – he is someone you know by the time I tell the story – refused to compromise in his place of work. So, all…, he happen to be a military man; …so, all the Officers above him decided – they decided – the best thing they need to do is get rid of this boy. So, even though he was not due for retirement, they decide to retire him. They wrote a letter of retirement and gave it to him and he came (it was Friday night). He came to the Holy Ghost service and say Lord, this is the letter I have received for being faithful to You; the rest is up to You. That was Friday night. By Monday morning, superior Officers had met and all the Officers that recommended the retirement of this young man were all retired and he was promoted ahead of them. Incidentally, there was a word of knowledge that night that said that ‘there is someone here, the people above you have made up their mind to end your career but long after they are gone, you will still be rising’ He had the word of knowledge and say God, you mean you have already read my letter. By Monday, the miracle had already happen. There is someone here today too, before Monday; your first big surprise will come. But I want you to rise on your feet and pray your first prayer and pray it with all your heart. Lift your voice to the Almighty God and say: Father, whatever You have to shake in order to solve my problem, shake it tonight. Go ahead talk to the Almighty. If You have to shake the heavens, shake the heavens; if You have to shake the earth, shake the earth; if You have to shake the establishment, shake the establishment; whatever You have to shake Lord to solve my problem, shake it tonight. Shake whatever You have to shake tonight O Lord to make sure that You solve my problems. If You have to shake the heavens, shake the heavens; if You have to shake the earth, shake the earth; if You have to shake the establishment, shake the establishment; whatever You have to shake in order to meet my needs, Lord God Almighty shake it tonight; shake it tonight; shake it tonight. Anything You have to shake Lord, in order to meet my needs, do the shaking tonight; do the shaking tonight; shake it tonight Father, that Your name might be glorify. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. Number 2) If you qualify to God Abba Father, then nobody can stop you. Every child that God considers my beloveth child in whom I AM well pleased: you can hold them but you won’t be able to keep them. In Mathew 28 verse 4 – there were keepers outside the tomb of Jesus Christ. The enemies make sure that if by any means He managed to escape from the grave, the Keepers will arrest Him. But the Bible says, on that resurrection morning, the Keepers shook and fainted – they were like dead men – the earthquake knocks them out. In Colossians chapter 2 verse 15, the Bible says Jesus spoiled the principalities and powers and made a shew of them openly. All those who thought they are going to hold Him down, He destroyed them; He made the shew of them openly. In Acts chapter 16 verse 27 in the case of Paul the Apostle, the Bible said, if Paul had not intervened the jailer would have killed himself. The one that was supposed to keep him save would have committed suicide. Why? Hebrews chapter 12 verse 29 says our God is a Consuming fire. When God arises for His special son, special child, anybody who tries to stand in the way, will be consume by fire. You will remember you heard some testimonies tonight, beautiful testimony: of a child that was kidnapped; and when they heard that she is a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, they returned her. Some of you will remember – those of who are fairly old; you will remember the story of a lady who after the Convention was going to Abeokuta and got into a bus not knowing that it was a kidnapper’s bus. And they took her into the jungle and they are already shavering her hair off when she began to speak in tongues. And as she began to speak in tongues, the high priest who was in charge of killing people and she has seen a lot of people being killed; came out: who is the one here disturbing us? In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, from now on, when you pray, the enemy will be disturbed. And they carried her right back to where they picked her up. I want you to stand on your feet; you are going to pray this second prayer – it is necessary at a time like this; say:  Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, anyone trying to hold me down, show them that You are the Consuming fire. Open your mouth and pray. Anyone trying to hold me down, show them that You are the Consuming fire. Anyone in anyway whatsoever trying to hinder me, trying to hold me down, please Daddy, show them that You are the Consuming fire; let them realize that I belong to You; let them realize that You are my Father. Anyone trying to hold down, show them that You are the Consuming fire; show them that You are the Consuming fire; show them that You are the Consuming fire. Anytime, anyone else trying to hold me down, Father, show them that You are the Consuming fire; let Your fire fall; let Your fire fall; let Your fire fall. Thank You Father. Glory be to Your holy name. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Number 3) When He looks down and sees you as one of His beloveth sons or daughters; He will turn your enemies to your servants. In Psalm 110 verse 1… Haa thank You Father. The Lord asks me to tell someone here tonight, He said, I will turn that bad news to good news. Thank You Daddy. The Lord said there is someone listening to me (I believe is here; it might be in viewing centers) He simply said I should let you know, I will heal you. In Psalm 110 verse 1, He said to the Lord Jesus Christ, sit down at my right hand, till have make your enemies Your footstool. In Ephesians chapter 1 verse 20 to 22, the Bible says, He raised Jesus Christ far above principalities and powers. He put all things under His feet. In Acts 16 verse… (that one is for Jesus Christ); …in Acts 16 verse 33 to 34 (concerning Paul the Apostle – because you can relate to Paul the apostle), the very man who was the Jailer – the one who was supposed to oversee the imprisonment became his servant: washing his wound; preparing food for him. In 2Samuel chapter 22 verse 45 to 49 – it is written, strangers shall submit themselves to me: … Is that for you? …as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me. That is written for me. I don’t know about you. There is nothing as sweet as God turning your enemies to your servant. If He kills them, they won’t even see you when you are in your glory. That’s why I like what David said, thou prepareth a table before me in the presence of my enemy. I think it will be better if my enemies will be the one who will carry the washing water for me to wash my hands. When I finish eating, let them go and wash the plates. You know the story; maybe there is one aspect of it you don’t know. You remember the story of a woman in a town in Osun State – wealthy woman; her house right in the center of the town. As she sat down to eat; she wanted to eat pounded yam and out of nowhere, a frog just came and jumped on the bowl of pounded yam. Haa! where is this frog coming from? And she tried to smash it, drive it away from the pounded yam, the thing jumped in the bowl of stew. So, the woman said alright, if I am not going to eat this pounded yam, neither will you. So, she took the bowl of pounded yam and slammed it on the bowl of stew burying the frog (at least she thought so). After sometime thinking that by now the frog will have being suffocated to death. She opened the bowl to discover that there was no frog. But from that day onward, she began to cough and I mean the kind of cough that she was coughing she will be urinating. She went everywhere; Doctors tried everything they could do; she just kept on coughing. And then one day, by the special grace of God, we went to that town to hold a programme. She gave her life to Jesus Christ and from that day onward coughing ceased; and she began to sleep – she has not being able sleep for almost two years. And then all of a sudden, a woman came to her and said, how did you get deliverance? – because the demon I send to you had no cure and when it left you it has come to me. Every attack of the enemy against you will back to sender. So the lady told her I gave my life to Jesus. She said please show me the way. And she too gave her life to Jesus Christ and God set her free. Now, the beauty of the story is that the next convention when that woman in the big story building was coming to the convention, it was the lady that sent the demon that carried her bag. Stand on your feet; lift your voice to the Almighty God loud and clear and say: Father, in Jesus mighty name, let all my enemies become my servants. Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God. All my enemies, let them become my servants. Let all my enemies, my Father and my God, become my servants; all of them let them become my servants, so that they will be able to know that You are the Almighty. You said You will make my enemies my footstool, fulfill Your promise O Lord; fulfill Your promise O Lord; fulfill Your promise O Lord. Thank You Father. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. Number 4) If you are one of His beloveth, He will see to it that you fulfill your destiny irrespective of what the enemy my do. In Acts chapter 4 verse 8 to 12 – Peter was talking and he said to the people: he said, Jesus whom you crucified is the One God has raised from the dead and is the One who has just performed the miracle on this lamed man. By the time they were crucifying the son in whom God was well pleased; they thought that His destiny had come to an end. They killed Him; they buried Him; but God raise Him from the dead and the miracles continue. The Bible says in 1Corithians chapter 2 verse 7 to 8 says, had they known, they would not have crucified the King of glory. If they had known that they dying of Jesus Christ is going to lead to world evangelization, they probably would have left Him alone just in Israel. In Acts chapter 16 in the case of Paul the apostle (Acts 16 verse 35 to 39), after the earthquake shook the place; the people who put Paul and Silas in prison sent and said you can tell them to go. Paul said no no, they jailed me without trial, let them come and get me out of here on their own. The enemy came and begged him: please sir, go on with your ministry – they came to beg. In Psalm 33 verse 10 to 11, the Bible says God bring the counsel of the heathen to not but His own counsel shall stand. There might be some of you who have been going through all manners of persecution from people who are even close to you; and you are in a situation where you are no longer even sure whether you will be able to fulfill your destiny or not; I have good news for you, the God of Joseph is still on His throne. The brother of Joseph sold him into slavery, they said, let us see how his dream can ever come to pass! But at the end of the day, they came and bowed down to him. I will tell you a story, true story that I will camouflage it so you won’t be able to know the fellow concerned. But I know one young man, happens to be the youngest son in the family. The father had two wives and first wife had the first son; this boy was born by the second wife. For one reason or the other, the first son hated this young fellow very badly. And there was an occasion when he made up his mind to kill the boy; but somehow, somehow as they say in colloquial English; the boy escapes death. Years passed, the small boy became who God wanted him to be. And then he decided to visit that first brother and he told him from now on, on a monthly basis I will be feeding you; and the older brother began to cry because he remembered, if he had the opportunity, he would have kill this boy. I want you to stand on your feet and tell the Almighty and say: Father, it does not matter what the enemy may be planning, let me fulfill my destiny. Open your mouth and cry to Him because you don’t even know who the enemies are; they might be your relations; they might be those who are very close. Let me fulfill my destiny, it does not matter what the enemy may be planning, just let me fulfill my destiny. Let me fulfill my destiny. I don’t know who they are, who might be planning against me; they have their plans, some of them have perfected the plan but Lord in spite of all of them, Abba Father, let me fulfill my destiny, let me fulfill my destiny; let me fulfill my destiny. O yes Almighty God, let me fulfill my destiny. Thank You my Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. Number 5) When you are one of His beloveth children, He can perform not just special miracles for you but special miracles through you. And I am sure some of us will like that one very much because I know there are some of us who will be delighted if God will use us to make the lame to walk, to make the blind to see and to raise the dead. You see, when you listen to some of these testimonies, you need to put yourself in the picture to get the full impact of the testimony. Imagine yourself being a Pastor, you are in church, you are preaching, everything is going fine, people are singing, and right there is the congregation somebody was dead; imagine how you will feel when all of a sudden that you discover one member of your congregation had been dead for two hours. And then imagine how you will feel when by the time you lay the handkerchief on the fellow, the fellow jumps back to life. There are some testimonies you cannot really describe the scenery unless somebody will put himself in that situation. I have good news for somebody here today; very soon God will be performing special miracles through you. I have told you before, the first time I saw God performing special miracles through me, it was at Ilesha, I was visiting…, I had just been General Overseer; …I was visiting and the woman brought a child, she has never spoken in all her life – the child had not spoken a word – she must be about ten years or so of age. And they brought the child for prayer. I was going to pray, expecting that: well, when after I have prayed I would say, okay, go on believing God, very soon we will see result. But as I said in the name of Jesus, the girl said amen. I nearly jumped out of the window. A miracle that will surprise you will happen through you very soon. If you qualify to call God Abba Father, He can perform special miracles through you. In Mark chapter 5 verse 25 to 34, the Bible tells us that the woman with issue of blood just touch the hem of the garment of Jesus, that was all she did and she got her healing. And Mark chapter 6 verse 56, the Bible said as many as touched Him – as many as touched the hem of His garment, they were made whole. In the case of Apostle Paul who is closer home to us, in Acts chapter 19 verse 11 to 12, the Bible said that God perform special miracles by the hand of Paul so that through his handkerchiefs and aprons the sick were healed; and devil saw the handkerchiefs coming and they ran. I am believing God that everyone of you will become a vessel unto honour in God’s hands. How many of these stories can I tell you? You have heard so many testimonies; you have heard about the handkerchiefs that the Almighty God had been using etcetera etcetera. Maybe I will just remind you of one; some of you have probably have heard it before. I was visiting one of our University for a program and that day it rained very heavily; that programme was supposed to start by five, the rain began by four; but the student refuse to move and stay there. And by the time I came on by 6:00pm the rain was still on – they wanted to bring me an umbrella, I said I don’t need an umbrella, let the rain beat all of us. But none of the student left. I did not know they had a plan – I am not asking you to carry out a similar plan tonight – as soon as we finished, they took the chair I sat on and broke into a little piece so the each student will get one little bit, one little bit. And from the testimonies we heard; one of the testimonies we heard was that: one of the student had a sister who had been absolutely mad, I think for sixteen years; he took that little piece of the chair, went home, touch the sister with it and the sister came out of the madness as if somebody comes out of a sleep. She said, oh, I had a long bad dream! They said yes, long bad dream. They did not bother to tell her that the bad dream had lasted sixteen years. I want you to stand on your feet; lift you voice to the Almighty God and cry to Him and say: Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, use me also for Your glory. Open your mouth and cry unto Him. He can use you, He can use you; He can use you mightily for His glory; use me to perform special miracles. Use me to perform special miracles O Lord. Almighty God, use me to perform special miracles, special miracles; use me Lord; use me mightily for your glory. I don’t want to be ordinary Christian, I want to be mighty vessel unto honour in Your hands, Lord use me mightily for Your glory. Use me Lord, use me mightily for Your glory, use me mightily for Your glory; use me mightily for Your glory. Thank You my Father. Use me mightily for Your glory. Use me mightily, very very mightily for Your glory. Thank You Almighty God. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen. I want you to do something as an act of faith. I want you to touch two or three people by faith and say: receive a miracle now. Touch them! Touch them! Receive a miracle now. Through me, let God give you a miracle now. Receive a miracle now. Let us give God a big round over plus for that. Thank You Lord. And I hereby decree, this is the beginning of a miraculous ministry in your life. Please be seated. Thank You Father. Thank You Almighty God. The Almighty God says, there are surprises and there are surprises. He said those who said you are dying for good will receive a bad surprise this month. Let me say amen to this before I tell you. Because the Lord says there is someone here today, He said, I destined you for greatness and I have not change My mind. Thank You Father. Number 6) When you are a favourite son of God, He will protect those who are close to you for your own sake. In Mark chapter 4… Haa, thank You Father. Amen and amen The Lord says there is someone here tonight, He said your journey to top is not over yet. O my Daddy thank You The Lord ask me to tell someone, He said, this year, your home will be heaven on earth again. In Mark chapter 4 in verse 35 to 41 – Jesus Christ was with the disciples in the boat and there was storm; the boat was even full of water, they thought it was going to sink. They needed not to have worried because there was Jesus in the boat; and because He was in the boat, there is no way any danger could have come to those who are there with Him. In Philippians chapter 2 verse 9 to 11 – the Bible says God has given Him a name that is above every other name that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow. That name is available for the use of those who are precious to Him; He does not need to use the name, He is already seated far above principalities and power. The name is for those of us who are precious to Him And then in Acts chapter 27 verse 21 to 25, the Bible said, there was a terrible storm for days everything was dark: no sunshine, no nothing; just one horrible storm. Then one night, an angel visited Paul and said to him, don’t worry Paul, you will reach your goal and all those who are with you on this boat. And the people who are with him on the boat! – they were criminals, they were murderers; horrible people; – God said because of you, I will spare them. So, I have given all those who are with you in the boat, you can have them; they can ride-on on your credit. On funny thing happen, I think it was the prophet or evangelist who told the story himself. We were travelling from London to Nigeria, himself and his wife was travelling in the same plane with myself. And as usual with me, as soon as I finish eating I fell asleep promptly. I can sleep standing up if I want to sleep not to talk of seating down. And then there was big turbulence (they told me later on when I woke up) that the plane was jumping up and down, jumping up and down; everybody became frightened. Then the Evangelist said, he looked in direction and saw that I was fast asleep; he turn to his wife and said: you don’t need to worry, Daddy G.O is sleeping, the plane is not going to crash. I want you to stand on your feet; lift your voice to the Almighty God; Pray this special prayer and say: Father, all those who are precious to me, because of me, keep sorrow away from them. Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God. All those who are precious to me; all those whose sorrow can cause me sorrow, because of me, Father, keep sorrow away from them; keep sorrow away from them because of me. Anyone that will get into trouble and they will go and call me, don’t let the fellow get into trouble. All those who are close to me, those who are precious to me, my Father and my God, rather than them getting into trouble, because of me spare; spare them; spare them; spare them; because of me Almighty God spare them; spare them. All those who are close to me, my Father and my God, don’t let any evil befall them, don’t let evil come near them at all, so that their sorrow will not become my sorrow; so that their problem will not become my problem. Anyone closer to me, Father keep evil far away from them, keep sickness away from them, keep tragedy away from them, keep any problem far away from them; please Lord, because of me spare them; spare them. Thank You Father. So shall it be in Jesus mighty name. Please be seated. Finally point number 7) If you belong to Him, if you qualify to call Him Abba Father, He will help you to finish well. It is not how hard you try that will determine your success. It is not how hard; it is not how qualified you are that will enable you to finish well, it takes the grace of God; it takes the grace of God. In John 17 verse 1 to 5, Jesus Christ said, I have finished the work You gave me to do. And you must understand that a stage in the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus Christ Himself said to the Father three times: Daddy all things are possible for You, I don’t want to drink this cup! But the grace of God kept on saying: ‘not My will but Thy will be done’. The Bible says at a stage, things got so bad that God had to send an angel from heaven to encourage Him: saying, eh en, you cannot come this far and fail. In 2Timothy chapter 4 verse 7 to 8, Paul said, I have finished well. The Bible said, the end of a thing is better than the beginning thereof (Ecclesiastes chapter 7 verse 8). My prayer for you is that you will finish well. Last month I was at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, to hold the Holy Ghost rally and then do one or two things. And I remembered an incident that happens way back in 1965. We went for the University games and before we left home, we had already enumerated the gold that we will bring back… Incidentally for your information, I had brought back gold on that occasion. But we had already mark certain people, I mean this one no doubt; this fellow, nobody can beat this fellow, this is gold no doubt. And there was this girl, she was the fastest thing you ever saw; so, we were sure she will come first, gold was settled. We got Ibadan during the preparatory to the final, she left everybody far behind. And then the time came for the final: on your mark, set, go She was gone. But when she was about ten meters from the finishing line she fell; she got up and fell; she got up and fell; and then she began to crawl towards the finishing line. In the main time, the fellow who would have been second came first; the one who would have been third, came second; the one who would have been come forth, had came third. If the only thing that you get from being a favourite child of God is finishing well, it is worth it. So, I want you to stand on your feet; I want you to lift your voice to God loud and clear and say: Father, whatever it will take, help me to finish well. Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God. Please, Daddy, help me to finish well. Almighty God, help me to finish well. It is the end that is important, the end is important; the end of a thing is far far better than the beginning thereof. Lord let me finish well. Let me finish well. Lord, let me finish well. Let me finish well. Almighty God let me finish well. Thank You Father. Let me finish. Almighty God, let me finish well. Help me, let me finish well. Thank You Almighty God. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please help prophesy to the fellow next to you: you shall finish well in Jesus’ name. And then you may be seated. Let me conclude so that we could have some more time to pray. What does Abba Father expect from a favourite child – what does he expect from me as a favourite child? Because I remember very well that one great man of God once said, Daddy G.O, how come God loves you so much? Are you the only one serving God? I am delighted to see that so many of you got up to join me when we are singing that song: ‘I am so glad, Jesus loves me’ Does He love you? But I am sure you know He loves me more than He loves you. I said to him, ask God; don’t ask me, ask God. But between you and I, what does He expect from a favourite child? Number one) Total obedience Isaiah chapter 1 verse 19 says, if you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land. 1Samuel chapter 15 verse 22 says: to obey is better than sacrifice. Just obey Him; obey Him; just obey Him. I am sure some of you have seen me do some funny things, because I just obeyed Him. I don’t care about what you think about me, I just want to obey Him; I want to obey my Daddy. He has asked me to dance round sick people before, I have done so just in obedience. He has asked me to wear seven agbadas before, I did so. You know all these; you are all there, you saw the results; I just obey Him. To obey is better than sacrifice. You want to be His favorite, obey Him. Now, you can only obey Him if you have totally surrendered to Him – Total surrender. Paul says in Philippians 1:21 I mentioned to you earlier on (Philippians 1:21), – for me to live is Christ, to die is gain. In living or in dying that is the meaning of surrender. When you say you surrender your life to Him that is what it means: you are saying Lord, from now on, whether I live or die, I am Yours – Total surrender Number three) There is a saying: ‘like father like son’. The Almighty expects you to be like Him – He is your Father, He wants people to see you and see God in you. 1John chapter 4 verse 17  – as He is, so are we in this world (that is in the Bible) We are His representatives; we are His ambassadors; people are supposed to see Christ in us. One child got excited after Sunday School and told his parent at home: I saw Jesus today; I saw Jesus today Where did you see Him? In the church. How do you He is Jesus? He helped me tied my shoes. Then they asked him to describe Jesus He describe the senior Pastor of the church. The boy saw Jesus in the Pastor because they have just thought them, Jesus washed the feet of the Apostles. And then, he did not know his shoes has loose And then, he saw an elderly man bending down helping him to tie his shoes and he say, I saw Jesus. The kind of Pastor who will tie the shoe for their member, I think that one qualifies to be mistaken for Jesus. Mathew 5:48 says, be ye perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect. If He is perfect in everything, you have to be perfect in obedience – that is all He wants from you – perfect obedience. In 1Peter chapter 1verse 15 to 16 says, be holy for I Am holy. The reason you wants to be holy is simply because you are the son of your Father. If you are truly the son of your Father, what you will not do in public, you won’t do it in private. You will practice what you preach. Whether anybody is watching you or not, you will still be holy child, the child of God holy, pure. I told you the story of time I travelled from London to Nigeria and there was somebody seating behind me, I did not know. And then, in first-class they were bringing drinks: One was orange; one was champagne; and one was combination of champagne and orange. Now, the combination of champagne and orange also look like orange; the fellow bringing it has to tell you this is a combination. I did not know somebody was behind me watching. They brought the drinks: Sir, champagne – I said no thanks. Champagne plus orange – no, thanks. Orange – yes, thank you. We got Ikeja as the plane was about to descend, then he touched me by the shoulder, how are you Pastor? He has been watching me from London; he wanted to find out maybe, if the Pastor in Nigeria is different from Pastor in the plane. The reason He wants you to be holy is because of Him not because of any other person. Number four) He expects you to declare Him without shame. Psalm 22 verse 22, David said, I will declare the Lord among my congregation; I will tell everybody this is my Daddy. I will boost of Him; I will tell all my brethren, my God is good, He is powerful; there is nothing He cannot do. Some of us cannot even open our mouth about the One will call Abba Father. In our place work we cannot talk about Him; in the buses we cannot talk about Him; in the market we cannot talk about; we want to only talk about Him in the church. Eh en! Declare me! tell everybody! Witness! Let them hear about me! And then of course, He wants you to be ever busy in His business; He wants you to be busy for Him. In Luke chapter 2 verse 49 – when the parent of Jesus Christ had been looking for Him for three days and then they find in Him in the temple; they said, haa, why have you done this? He said, I AM busy about my Father’s business. Why are you looking for me, I AM busy doing my Father’s business. Every one of us can do something for the Lord. Nobody is too big to serve the Lord. And there is always something in His house that you can do. Somebody clean the chair you sat on; why can’t it be you? Some cleans the toilet; why can’t it be you? I remember some years ago in one of the toilets. One fellow was talking to somebody who is cleaning the toilet and he was talking to him rudely: hey, you people, don’t you know who I am? The fellow said, sorry sir but who are you sir? He said, I am a manager in a bank. Oh! He said, I am very sorry sir but for your information, I am the Chairman of another bank. You are Manager! I am Chairman! I am here because I am working for my King. That is what your Father is expecting from you. That is what He is expecting fromyou. Ask them, they will tell you when we were filling the ground at Ebute Metta because the land we had at Ebute-metta was very small but we are by the Lagoon so we were claiming more land by using sawdust because there were sawmailers on or right, sawmailers on our left and did not know what to do with their sawdust, so we say we can help you. We are carrying the sawdust from them using it to chase the lagoon away. I was already a lecturer at the University of Lagos; I became born-again and I realize God as being so good to me, what can I do for Him? Every evening I will come…, ask the elders here, my basket is one of the biggest; …I will carry sawdust on my head. I remember on occasion, there was traffic going on in Oyingbo and one of my former students at the University of Lagos saw a car coming into the church, he thought that  that fellow must know a short cut so he followed. When he came into the church compound he saw me with basket of sawdust on my head, he said, haa, oga! I said which oga? I am Oga at the University; before the one who saved my soul, I am just an ordinary person. How do I become His favorite son? : Total Obedience Total surrender Like father, like son Declare Him without shame Be ever busy for His business And I can assure He will answer your prayers and your surprises will begin very soon. Amen. So, I am going to give some prayer points now, so that you can come and talk to the Almighty God for just…, we still have plenty of time; …just about fifteen minutes. So, you want to write down your prayer points, so that you can talk to God. Number one of course is that you want to praise Him for even agreeing to be your Father.  Thank Him for giving me an opportunity to be your son; and I know by Your grace I can call you Abba Father. Thank You for the privilege. And then number two you will say Father, let me be a worthy child of God never tarnishing Your image. Let me be a worthy child of God never tarnishing Your image. And then number three: Father, everything I need to serve You diligently, please give unto me. Everything in need: the health, the strength, the money, the wisdom, the anointing, everything I need to serve you diligently, please make available unto me. And then number four: say, Father, from now, please turn every obstacle in my way to stepping stones to glory. Number five: Father, this year, (in fact say this month) make away for me where there was no way before. This month make a way for me where there was no way before. Six: Father, please bring me out of all kinds of all prisons tonight: spiritual prisons, habitual prison (that is prison as a result of my habit), economy prison, bring me out of every prison tonight; I want to be free the way you brought Paul and Silas out, bring me out And finally: Father, because I am Your favourite child, let me laugh last. Let me laugh last. Joseph laugh last, let me laugh last. David laugh last, let me laugh last. Please Lord, let me laugh last. Those are the seven prayer points very quickly I give you fifteen minute. If you want to come to the altar you are welcome. If you want to seat down, you are welcome. You want to stand, you are welcome. Whichever way; but make sure you cry out to the Almighty God. That seven prayer points, if you pray each one for just two minutes that will be the fifteen minute. So, pray your heart out. Forget anybody to your right to your left, just cry to the Almighty God Thank You that I can call you Abba Father. Let me be a worthy child never tarnishing your image. My Father and my God, anything I need to serve You adequately, diligently, provide for me. Turn every obstacle to stepping stones. Make a way for me where there is no way before. Bring me out of all kinds of prisons tonight. Let me laugh last. Go ahead talk to the Almighty God. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. I want you to please stand and join hands with your neighbours. The Bible says since the days of John the baptize, the kingdom of sufereth violence and the violence ones taken it by force. You need to pray one or two violence prayer now. Lift your voice to the Almighty God loud and clear and say: Father, anyone trying to block the way of my neighbour, wipe them out. Cry to the Almighty God. If they don’t change; if they don’t repent, if they try to stand in the way of my neighbour, remove them. Anyone trying to block the way of my neighbour, if they don’t change, if they don’t repent, wipe them out; wipe them out. Thank You Jesus. ****Speaking in the Spirit****. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. One more You will lift your voice to the Almighty and say: Father, any yoke may remain in the life of my neighbour, let Your fire consume. Open your mouth and pray. Any yoke that may remain in the life of my neighbour, let Your fire come down and consume it now. You are the Consuming fire Lord, any yoke, every yoke, that may be in the life of any of these Your children, let Your fire consume; let Your fire consume; let Your fire consume; let Your fire consume; let Your fire consume; let . Open your mouth and pray. Any yoke that may remain in the life of my neighbour let Your fire come down and consume it now. You are the Consuming fire Lord, any yoke, every yoke, that may be in the life of any of these Your children, let Your fire consume; let Your fire consume; let Your fire consume; let Your fire consume; let Your fire consume; let Your fire consume. Thank You Father. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Now, lift your hands to the Almighty even as I pray for you. Daddy I want to thank You for this evening. Thank You for salvation of souls; thank You for the people You promise to heal; thank You because I know some of them are already heal; thank You for the testimonies; please accept our thanks in Jesus’ name. In Your name my Father and my God, I hereby decree that the lives of all of these Your children will only bring glory to Your name. I decree that nothing again in their actions, in their ways of life, will never bring tarnish to Your name. I pray that every one of us from now will become worthy children of God that Your light will shine through us in Jesus’ name. Father I decree that every obstacle in the way of these Your children will become stepping stone to glory; that this month in particular where there had been no way before, ways will open to Your children. And if there are any of them in any form of bondage, any form of prison: physical, spiritual, financial, marital, or otherwise, bring them out tonight. My Father and my God You are my Daddy, I know I can call You Daddy by Your grace, so, I have a very special request for all Your children who are here tonight, let them laugh last. In every situation of their life, let them laugh last. Oh my Father and my God, I am not only asking them to laugh last, I want their laughter to begin now. By the time the sun is rising, let them here good news. Let this month be a month of special surprises and let them serve You. Everything they need to serve You give unto them. Give them good health; give them strength; give them anointing; prosper them; open doors unto them. My Father and my God, by the time they meet next month for the special Holy Ghost service, everyone of these Your children, let them sing a new song. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen. Daddy wants me to tell someone, I will judge your adversaries tonight. Well, Father, I was going to ask You to do a mighty things, since You have already started just complete. Save souls tonight; heal tonight; set free tonight; prove Your Almightiness tonight; at the end of it all let Your name alone be glorified. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen. Now, open your Bible to John chapter 7 verse 37 to 39: 37In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, if any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. 38He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified). Yesterday, those of you who are on the eve of the program, you will notice that my children have given us several interpretations of this passage; all I want to do tonight is add just a little bit to what they had already said. But I want to encourage you before we go further that you are not here tonight for yourself alone. You are here to represent your families; you are here to represent your organizations; you are here to represent your towns, your cities; you are even here to represent your countries. It is my prayer that the miracles God will perform here tonight will not be limited to here. So, when it is time to pray, please pray with all your heart. A day like this comes once a year and even for some people once in a life time. Jesus Christ stood up and gave an invitation and this invitation is to anybody who wants to come. No president, no matter how wealthy had ever thrown a party and invited every citizen of his country – it had never been done. But here, my Father is about to throw a party and He invited the whole world. Is there any one all over the world who may want to come? – come And the only reason He could do that is because He has more than sufficient to satisfy the need of everybody. That was why I asked you to pray at the beginning that you will not leave here empty handed because He has more than  enough to meet the need of everybody. In Genesis 17 verse 1 – He said I AM Jehovah El-Shaddai, the God who is more than enough. In Ephesians chapter 3 verse 20 – He said, is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ask or think. In order words, even if you think of something but what you are thinking about is so big, you are free to ask, He can still do it for you. David said in Psalm 23 verse 5 – he said thou anointed my head with oil, my cup runs over. I have told you in the past that when I was studying Psalm 23 and I got to that part – I turned to God, I said Almighty God, when the cup was full why didn’t You stop? He said, I just want to show the boy that there is much more where this is coming from. I will love to decree to somebody here tonight that by the time you are leaving here you will say God this is too much. Number one) God is more than enough for you as a person: In Philippians 4:19… Thank You Father. The Lord says there is someone here tonight, He said, the noise in your head is gone. In Philippians 4:19 – says my God shall supply all – not small – all needs: That means physically He is more than sufficient to take care of your needs. The Bible says by His stripes you were healed. And I told you before that in those days when they want to beat people during the Rome regime, they will beat you with thirty-nine stripes – it supposed to be the maximum. But in the case of the Lord Jesus Christ, they gave Him forty stripes and Bible scholars tried to explain that to us As I read one scientific journal that all the sicknesses and diseases in the world can be put into thirty-nine categories; Jesus took a stripe for each category and then took one extra to wait for sicknesses and diseases that have not been discovered. So, whatever your sickness, whatever your disease, you will leave here after this service singing a new song. There is no case too hard for Him: He can cure the incurable; you have heard testimonies upon testimonies because He is the great Physician. Materially: He is more than sufficient for your needs because Haggai chapter 2 verse 8 says silver belongs to Him, gold belongs to Him. But He does not just prosper you according to proverb chapter 10 verse 22 – His own blessings make you rich without adding sorrow. There are those who are rich but they cannot eat. There are those who are rich and they cannot sleep. When He is the One blessing you – He blesses you and there will be no sorrow added. Spiritually: He is more than enough for you; because He is the Lord of host, He can take care of any form of evil force. Maritally: He is more than sufficient for you. And I thank God you saw examples here tonight – barren for almost 19 years, when He responded, He gave them three at a go. He is more than sufficient because according to John 15 verse 1 to 5 – He is the Vine, you are the branches; when you abide in Him, then He makes you very fruitful. He reminds me of the story of one young man who had a Doctorate degree and just could not get a job for years – with all his education, not a single application was granted. And because he had no job, he could not marry. Of course, because he had no wife – no children. A day they brought him to us, he looks like a mad man because frustration was already affecting him. We introduce Jesus Christ to him, he surrendered his life to Jesus; by the time he got home, he got a phone call: where have you been, you have a job waiting for you from the Government. He got a job, six month later, he was married; nine month after the marriage, he gave birth to a set of twins. God is more than enough for your needs. So, I want you to pray the first prayer tonight and if you don’t mind stand on your feet and cry to the Almighty God and say: Father, I have come to drink, meet all my needs today. Open your mouth and cry unto Him. I have come to drink, please meet all my needs today – physical needs, material needs, emotional needs, marital needs, spiritual needs. Father, I have come to drink, meet all my needs today. Meet all my needs today. You ask me to come and I have come, I have come to drink from You, meet all my needs today. Meet all my needs today. Every form of sickness let it end today; anything called poverty in my life let it end today; anything called bondage in my life let it end today. Every form bondage let it end today. Please Lord, prove that You are more than sufficient for my needs tonight. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. And so shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. Number two) He is more than sufficient for every member of your family. Like I said earlier on, you are not here alone for yourself; you are here on behalf of your family. In the case of Jairus, Mark chapter 5 verse 35 to 42, it was his daughter that needed a miracle. It was his daughter that needed something special from God. The daughter died, but the One who had invited you to come and drink tonight settled that case. Is your daughter in trouble – here or at home or abroad? You will testify after today. In Luke chapter 7 verse 11 to 15, the story of the widow of Nain, it was the son who died – It was the son who needed a miracle; and the One who invited you to come and drink tonight, took care of the situation. I told you before of a time that I was invited to minister in Ikoyi; it was a gathering of high and mighty; and why the people were gathering he asked me to go and seat in the house of the one who was to be the hostess for that day. I was going to preach on ‘the God of miracles’ but when I entered into the house and I saw five levels of sitting rooms in ascending order of splendor, I wanted to change my topic. I said, Lord, this people do not need miracle. And God spoke to me, son, do not be deceived. The one son of the woman who owns this house is heavily on drugs. The lady is not the one in trouble, is the son. Do you have a son who is in one form of problem, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, in the case of tonight, you will testify. It is enough for your brother or sister:  in the case of Lazarus, it was a brother who died. The brother whose case was considered beyond solution but the Almighty God took care of the situation. In Isaiah 46 verse 3 – the Bible tells us that God is sufficient even for the baby in the womb. So, if the Doctors have told you there is something wrong with your baby in the womb, tell them my God will take care. He is sufficient for every member of the family: the daughters, the sons, the brothers, the sisters, even the one in the womb. Some of you will remember the case of a lady whose baby in the womb died and the Doctors told her we must evacuate because not only the baby dead, the baby is already rotten – we must evacuate so that the poison from the rottenness will not destroy your own blood. But the congress was near and she said to them let me go to the congress first, if God does not do a miracle then, then you can evacuate. They told her, you delay for one week, you might be dead yourself. And she turned to God, she came. First day, nothing happen. Second nothing happen. Then third day, the power of God came down so heavily, I could not stand; I had to ask for a chair while I was preaching and as I was about to seat down, God spoke and said there is a woman here the baby in your stomach had been dead for a long time but I AM bringing the baby back to life. Instantly, the baby jumped back to life. I want you to stand on your feet and cry to the Almighty God and say: Father, I have come to drink, let Your miracle flow to every member of my family. Open your mouth and pray. Father, I have come to drink, let Your miracle flow to every member of my family – to my brothers, to my sisters, to my sons, to my daughters, to my cousins, to my nephews, to my aunties, to my uncles, let your miracle flow to every member of my family. That is why I have come, I have come to drink Lord, let Your miracle flow, let Your miracle flow to every member of my family. Let Your miracle flow to every member of my family today – my wife, my children, all my relatives – let Your miracles flow to every member of my family today. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. Number three) He is more than sufficient for your friends and associates. After taking care of your own needs; after taking care of all needs of every member of your family, He can take care all the needs of your friends and associates adequately. In Mark chapter 2 verse 1 to 12… Thank You Father. The Lord says there is someone here tonight and He says you will understand, He said, there will be no more harassment in your dreams. From now on you will sleep peacefully, no more harassment in your dreams. Mark chapter 2 verse 1 to 12 – the Bible says four young man brought a man to Jesus; they were healthy young men but their friend was in need – which is the friend who needed a miracle – and Jesus proved more than sufficient for the friend. The man was not just healed, he carried his bed back. They carried him in, he carried the carrier out. In Acts chapter 9 verse 36 to 42, there is a lady called Dorcas she is the one who died but those associated with her are those who cried to the One who ask you to come and drink – and God went straight into grave and brought Dorcas back. There is a story I really like that will form the foundation for your next prayer. In Acts chapter 27 verse 18 to 25… Thank You Father (Let me say amen to this one) Because the Lord says there is someone here tonight or somewhere hearing my voice all over, He said the enemy will forget you for a long time. They just forget about you for a long time. In Acts 27… Thank You Father. The Lord says there is someone here tonight, He said the noise in your stomach is gone forever. The Lord says there is someone here tonight; He said that suspicious growth in your nose is gone. I know it is going to be a great night. The Lord asks me to tell someone, He said that which is blocking your vision is already removed. (Let me say amen again to this one) Because the Lord says there is someone here today, He said I will yet be glorified in your life. Acts 27 verse 18 to 25 is the story of Paul who was sailing to Rome and there were all manners of criminals with him in the boat and then there was this terrible storm, so bad that for two weeks they could not even see the sun, so they thought they were going to perish. But one night an Angel visited Paul and told him don’t worry you won’t die and I have given all those who are in the boat to you – because of you, they were not Christians, but because of you, I will spare them all. … and there was a police riding a motorcycle as escort for us. And he entered into a road to stop the traffic so that we can continue and a car was coming at top speed and hit him, threw him off the motorcycle; crushed the motorcycle completely and ran over him and yet fled away. I mean you know the meaning of that. I lifted my voice to my Father: that man is with me; he is riding escort for me. And they carried him to the hospital – that is a case we called ‘dead on arriver’ I had to go on to the service. After the service I wanted to know about the family of the man so that whatever we can do to help; but my Father had heard my voice. They examined the man – no broken bones! No scratch! Completely whole! Stand on your feet and cry to God for your friends and associates and say: Father, I have come to drink, let Your miracles flow to all my friends and all my associates. Please open your mouth and cry to Him Please I have come to drink tonight, let Your miracles flow to all my friends, to all my associates; anyone associated with me, please let Your miracles flow to them; let Your miracles flow to them. I have come to drink, oh Lord, because I am here, let Your miracles flow to all my friends, to all my associates, to all my co-workers, let Your miracles flow to them. I know You are more than sufficient, please let Your miracles flow, let Your blessings flow to all my friends, to all my associates; please let Your miracles flow. Thank You my Father. Anyone close to me, Lord, anyone associated with me, don’t let them know the problem, don’t let them know sorrow, let Your miracles flow to all of them, please Lord. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. Number four) He is more than sufficient that His power can flow into your dress. He is so powerful that when you come to Him and you drink, He can so robe you with power greatly that even your shadow will become powerful. In Mathew chapter 14 verse 35 to 36, the Bible says when they heard He was in town they brought all manners of sick people to come and meet Him;  and all who touched Him got healed. In Acts 19 verse 11 to 12, the Bible says God perform special miracles by the hand of Paul that from his body, aprons and handkerchiefs was taken to the sick and they were all healed. You have heard the testimony tonight of handkerchief anointed here and that young man laid it on his son that died and that son came back to life. In Acts chapter 5 verse 14 to 16, the Bible said, the shadow of Peter healed the sick. At least some of you will remember and occasion here when the Lord spoke that the dress that you are wearing that particular night had become anointed. How many of you will remember? Shortly after that, you heard the testimony of a brother who was attacked by armed robbers and they fired six bullets at him. He showed us his jacket (some of you will remember); we saw six bullets holes coming in through the front; we saw six bullets holes coming out at the back of the jacket; we saw these six bullets holes in the singlet that he wore and there was no scratch on him. What happen! The dress he wore that day became anointed. I am going to beg you to cry to God tonight, lift your voice to Him and say: Father, I have come to drink, the dress I am wearing now, anoint it from heaven. Anoint my dress tonight. Soak me with Your anointing tonight. Soak me with Your anointing tonight. Soak me Lord, everything that is on me now, soak it with Your anointing. He is more than sufficient He can flow into your dress, so flow into you – into your dress, even your shadow and become power carrier. Soak this dress O Lord; soak it with Your anointing, fill it with power, let it begin to perform miracles after tonight. With this dress Lord, let mighty miracles begin to happen – healing the sick, chasing out demons, raising the dead. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Number five) (I particularly like this) His power can flow and saturate your domain. Psalm 24 verse 1 says the earth is the Lord and fullness thereof. He owns the earth but He gives a little bit of it to individuals: your house, your office, maybe your village or city; or even your country depending on your position in life. His power can flow and soak your domain. For example, in the case Cornelius in Acts chapter 10 verse 1 to 48 – the house of Cornelius was his domain and he gathered his people there and the Holy Spirit soaks everyone in that house. In Acts chapter 16 verse 16 to 34 – the moment Paul got into jail, he took over the place. When God visited him there, he broke the chain of everybody, the prison door was flung open; even the Jailer came and bow before him Oh, thank You Father. The Lord asks me to tell you, the prayer we had just prayed has been answered. You know the meaning of that; take care of the dress you are wearing now – take care of that dress – this is not the one you are going to dash out. Let me tell you another story. Another fellow was here when God said He has anointed our dress and I told you then if you are attending an interview or something, wear that dress. So, he wore his own because he was going to attend an interview in Lagos. On the Third Mainland bridge there was an accident: the bus in which he was travelling caught fire; everybody in the bus got burnt to death; he was the only one who came out without a single burn. Take care of the dress you are wearing tonight! If you heard me correctly let me hear you shout hallelujah Thank You my Daddy. In Acts chapter 8… Haa! let me say amen to this one. Daddy said, there is someone here tonight, up till this moment you have known addition, now, get ready for multiplication. Daddy says there is someone here, He says, as of now nobody regard you as anyone, but He asked me to tell you, very soon you will be gathering with high and mighty. Now, in Acts chapter 8 from verse 5 to 8, the moment Philip got to Samaria, his God took over the city so that there was great joy in the city. May I prophecy to someone here, because you came, there will be joy in your town. It was a sorcerer that was in charge of Samaria before Philip came. But when light came, darkness bowed. Every tree in your town that is tree representing the devil that is not allowing that city to become what God want it to become, before the sun rises it tomorrow, the fire of the Almighty God will consume it. The power of God can soak your domain. By the grace of God, where we are now used to be headquarters of highway robbers and pythons before we came; nobody wanted this place; that’s why when we came we are buying an acre of land for one thousand naira. When you are not crazy, who want to be living at the headquarters of highway robbers? And then we came, and our Daddy came with us; now, this is now our domain. And I will remind you of a testimony of a lady who went to America to look after her grandchildren and she had a stroke. And she told the children, please send me home quickly. Haa! mama, anybody in your kind of situation we want to come to America for treatment. She said, no no no, send me to Nigeria I am going to meet my God. Mama, God is everywhere. She said I know but I know where His headquarters is. They brought mama in a wheel chair; as soon as she got to redemption camp; as soon as her feet touched redemption camp, she was healed completely. I want you to stand on your feet and cry to the Almighty God and say: Father, I have come to drink, let Your power flow to my domain. Let Your power flow into my house, flow into my office, flow into my village, flow into my town, flow into my country. Oh Lord let your power flow. Let Your power flow into my domain. O yes Lord let Your power flow into my house, into my one bedroom apartment, into my office – that section that you gave me, let Your power flow into my domain; let Your power flow into my domain. Almighty God, let Your power flow into my domain. Let Your power flow into my house, flow into my office, flow into my church, flow into my village, flow Lord God Almighty into my cities, flow into my country, let Your power flow Lord. Let Your power flow into my domain. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. Now, how does this power flow? You see, Jesus Christ said, come and drink and then out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. In John chapter 4 verse 14, He says the water I AM going to give you to drink shall become in you a well that will then begin to flow into everlasting life. And then in Luke chapter 6 verse 45… Amen God is talking to someone in particular, He asked me to tell you, rejoice, because your wall of Jericho is down at last. If you are that one let me hear you shout hallelujah. Amen and amen. O God what a night! The Lord says there is someone here tonight, He said in order to show that I control the calendar of your life, every opportunity you lost last year shall return. In Luke chapter 6 verse 45, the Bible says out of the abundant of the heart, the mouth speaks – the river flow through your mouth. In Job chapter 22 verse 21 to 28, the Bible says, if you satisfy certain conditions, you shall decree a thing and it shall be established unto you. And I have heard a special permission from my Father, so, this special anniversary occasion to do some decreeing. And I am going to remind you of a story before your next prayer because I have heard some people trying to tell the story and at times they don’t tell it correctly. I told you of a young man who came to us (whenever I say a young man that means somebody is younger than I), Daddy, I have been struggling for a long time, I too want to go into something big; so, I have applied to a company, I want to become their Deputy Managing Director. I am going for an interview that is why I have come to you. I said okay, let us pray. He said no no no, don’t pray; just speak a word I said okay – the interview will go well. Thank you Daddy and he left. The following day he came, full of excitement – Daddy, I got there, I got to the Board room, I had prepared very hard for the interview but they ask me only three questions: what is your name? I told them; what post have you applied for? I told them; when can you start? So I told them I will start tomorrow. I said congratulations. He said, no no no Daddy. Speak another word. I said okay – you shall be rapid He said amen The following day he came back again, trembling with excitement – Daddy, I went to resume, when I got there, they ask me to go to the Board room and I met the same people who interviewed me, they said to me, young man, after you left our Managing Director resigned, are you ready for the work of the Managing Director? So, I said, haa! Congratulations He said, no no no, speak another word. So I said to him: the One who has started a good work in you, will perfect it – and he left. The following day he came back again; what again now! He could hardly speak. He said I got to work this morning they asked me to go to the Board room; I went to the Board room: they said, young man, we have discovered why our Managing Director resigned; he went to rival company because they doubled his salary; since we don’t want you to leave we will double your salary. I said congratulations. He said, no no no, speak another word. I said do you want to take the company from the owner? I want to give you two minutes to stand on your feet to ask God for whatever you want and then I will speak a word. Anything you want from the Almighty God, anything you want Him to do, now that you have come to drink, and then I will speak a word. Let us begin to bring our prayer to a close. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Now, by the authority vested in me by the most high God, I hereby decree whatever you have asked for is done. Whether the devil likes it or not, I decree now it is done. Even before the sun rises, it is done. So shall it be. In Jesus mighty name. Amen. Please be seated. Oluwa ti se Haa! I can hear someone singing: my life is moving again – and so shall it be. What does it take for the rivers to flow? When Jesus stood up and cried, he said, if any man thirst, he should come – anyone who is thirsty for healing, for health, let him come. Anyone who is tired of poverty, tired of brother-hang-me-down, let him come. Anyone who wants to please God, desperately desirous of what is needed to please God, He said, let him come. I mean in 2Chronicles chapter 1 verse 6 to 15 – all that Solomon said he wanted was wisdom and understanding, so he could take care of God’s people. God gave him what he asked for and there was an overflow – what he did not even ask for God added. You know the history of the Holy Ghost service: God asked me thirty-one years ago, son, what do you want for your birthday? I said God, since You asked, I want a miracle for every member of my congregation. I did not ask anything for myself, I ask for the congregation. That is how it started – and look at what it has become now. If you are determined to please Him, come and drink. If you want to use health to serve Him, come and drink. You want to use wealth to serve Him, come and drink. I have never cry to God and say God give me a dress. I never prayed for a car. The only time I cried for anything material was when I was leaving into full time and I was leaving the mansion I was living in Ilorin to come and live in Mushin and I said Lord, please, build me a boy’s quarter – give me a room for me; a room for my wife; a room for my children – boy’s quarter. And He said, son, don’t ask me for a house, I have decided to build you a city, just focus on serving Me, leave the rest to Me. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. What does He require from you? He wants you to come under His management. Mathew 11 verse 28 to 30 – come unto Me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. But He said, take My yoke upon you and learn of Me. Come under My management; do whatever I ask you to do, I will handle the rest. I am a living testimony that God is faithful – very faithful! Very very very Faithfull! Once He asked me to go to a town called Denver in Colorado in America in January I say yes Lord, I will go; but, Daddy you know I don’t like cold – and that is a very cold place in January; snow all the time – I will go He said, son, I will go with you. I was there for four days; in the middle of winter, my Father brought summer – the temperature was like that of Nigeria – we were wearing T-shirt in January in Denver. The moment I entered into the plane and the plane took off, the snow that had not snowed for four days came down. He controls the heavens; He controls the earth; He controls living and dying, surrender all to Him and He will surprise you. So in closing, because there is still one or two things God wants to do. Maybe you are not here when they make the altar call earlier this evening; or you are here but you have not made up your mind then; but now you want to surrender your life to Jesus, I am going to count from one to ten; before I say ten, come, come and stand before me so that I can pray for salvation. In all the viewing centers all over the world, if you want to give your life to Jesus, just go to the altar, the Pastors there will take care of the situation. I can see that the old auditorium is also full; in the same way, you go to the altar if you want to give your life to Jesus and I will pray for your salvation. I am counting now One, two, three, He controls your destiny, so come, come to the altar and surrender your life to Him; let your soul be saved today and He will give you a new beginning. Thank You Father Four, five, Please come quickly, we are about to go to the climax of the evening Six, seven, eight, nine, Now those of you who are already in front and those of you who are coming, cry to Jesus now and ask Him to please save your soul, forgive all your sins, tell Him from now on you will serve Him; tell Him you will be under His management; ask Him to be merciful unto you and save your soul. The rest of us, please, let us stretch our hands towards this people and intercede for them that the One who saved our souls will save their own souls also. Please pray for them. Pray for them. Thank You Father. Once you are coming, keep coming, just make sure you get here before I finish praying. Pray that Jesus will save your soul. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Savior, I want to thank You for Your word and I want to thank You for this people who have come forward to surrender their lives to You, please receive them, save their souls, let Your blood wash away their sins, write their names in the Book of Life and from now on any time they call on You, please answer them by fire. Don’t let them backslide; let them serve you till the end. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen Now, I want to rejoice with those of you who have come forward, today is a new day for you now, everything will become new. And I promise you, from now I will be praying for you. So, some Counselors are already near you, they will give you a card that you will fill quickly, just give me your name, your address and your prayer request and I promise you I will be praying for you. In the next fifteen to twenty minutes He is going to change several people destiny permanently. So, kindly pay maximum attention now. The Bible says, the Just shall the live by faith. The One who had invited us to come and drink, is someone we cannot see now but He has representatives on earth. By His special grace and His grace alone, I happen to be one of them. And you know I never do anything expect He asks me to do it. He asked me to do something, which I am about to do; and please take that section of this service very very seriously because it is going to lead to the next section. He ask me to make a sign to  you– sign of come and drink- and He says why I am doing that you should pray with all your heart and the prayer is simple: Father, fill me to overflowing – that is all. When we finish that section, then I will lead you to the next one. And those of you who are watching all over the world if at all you are able to stand, please stand now. Let all of us stand and focus on me because I am standing as a representative of Jesus Christ. I am not Jesus; I am His representative and He is the One who says: just make a sign to you and that as I do so, you pray one prayer: Father, fill me to overflowing. And you keep praying that prayer until I stop you. So, here we go Thank You Father In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Very briefly, He asked me to give you and an explanation of what you are about to do next; because you are going to pray a prayer with your mouth now fresh with anointing – a kind of prayer you have not prayed before. In 2Kings chapter 2 verse 23 to 24, the Almighty God had just filled Elisha to overflowing and some people began to mock him and he cursed them. Everything mocking your destiny you are about to curse. In Mathew chapter 15 verse 13, the Bible says, every plant my Father have not planted shall be rooted. Whatever was not in you when God created you, you are going to curse it tonight. In Mark chapter 11 from verse 12 to 14, Jesus was hungry and He saw a fig tree that has plenty of leaves and had no fruit, He cursed it. You are going to curse every form of fruitlessness in your life tonight. So, I want you to pray as violently as you can and say: in the mighty name of Jesus, everything mocking my destiny, I curse you. Open your mouth and cry to God.                                        Everything mocking my destiny, I curse you in the mighty name of Jesus. Everything that is saying where is your God, I curse you in the mighty name of Jesus; I curse you in the mighty name of Jesus. And so shall it be in Jesus’ name. Then you will lift up your voice again and say everything that was not in my when God made me – sickness, demons, failure – I curse you tonight in Jesus’ name. Every plant my Father did not plant that is in me, that is in my life, that is  in my home, that is in my business, that is in my church, that is in my town – every plant my Father did not plant I curse you tonight, die from the root. Every tree that God did not plant that the Almighty God did not put in me when He made, everything that was not there when He fashioned me, I curse you, die from the root. Cancer die; hypertension die; asthma die; diabetes die, everything that was not place in me by God, I curse you in the mighty name of Jesus. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Then you will lift your voice to Him and say: Father, every form of barrenness, every form of failure, every form of fruitless efforts, every form of stagnation in my life, I curse you tonight, I curse you tonight. Barrenness I curse; failure I curse you; lack of promotion I curse you; every evil covenant I curse you. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Finally, with your fresh with anointing, call in the blessings – and say: in the mighty name of Jesus, goodness and mercy follow Adeboye all the day of his life (mention your name). Joy, come in. Success, come in. Peace, come into my home. Harmony, come into my home. Progress, come into my life. Breakthroughs, testimonies, miracles, signs; wonders, come into me, come into me. Let us go ahead and bless the name of the Lord; let us lift hands to the Almighty God. Let us worship the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Let us bless His holy name. He is worthy to be praised; He is worthy to be adored. Magnify His holy name. Praise the King of kings, the Lord of lords; the Ancient of days. Worship Him for He is worthy, He is worthy to be praised, worthy to be adored; He is worthy to be magnified. Praise Him.                                               Praise the King of kings. Praise Abba Father; praise the Father of all fathers, the Father of fatherless, the Husband of the widow, the Unchangeable changer, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending; the One who is, the One who was, the One who is to come, bless His holy name. Abba Father Part 3 To become a child of God or to be born-again is different from being somebody who likes Jesus; is different from someone who goes to church; is different from someone who helps Jesus to celebrate His birthday at Christmas… To be a child of God, to be born-again is actually the same thing as saying to Jesus Christ: I will marry You; I will be Your wife. Let me explain In some houses in Lagos, we have what we called – we have rooms that we called – ‘face me, I face you’; some of you know what I am talking about. So, there could be a man in a house, living in his own room; and there could be several women living in their own rooms still in the same house and they could become very friendly, when the man wants to celebrate his birthday they help him celebrate. But he cannot say to anyone living in any of those rooms, you cannot go out when they say they want to go out. They will tell him, we are not your wife. A person who is born again is somebody who had already said to Jesus Christ – I do. Will you accept me as your lawful husband? Yes, I do – I accept You. Being born again means you have become married to Jesus. The implication of that is that you will get: Number one) A new name. When you marry a man, you will get a new name. When you get into a church to marry, you can go in a Miss Ojo and come back as Mrs. Dada – you get a new name. In John chapter 1 verses 11 and 12, the Bible says, He came unto His own and His own received Him not. But to as many as received Him, to as many as said I do, to them gave he power to become the sons of God – you get a new name. Your former name when your friends are calling you might be ‘Babake’ or some other funny name names but the moment you say I do to Jesus Christ your name changes to ‘Child of God’. And I want to thank the Almighty God for my children who have performed tonight; I have never seen something like this before. From the little children who performed to that young lady that preached that fantastic sermon; I have never seen anything like this before, I am blessed, glory be to God. …to them gave he power to become sons of God or daughters of God depending on your sex. And the new name that you get is recognized in heaven; it is also recognized in hell. For example, in Acts chapter 16, you can read it from verse 11 to 17 (Acts 16 verse 11 to 17), the Bible says, God was performing special miracles by the hand of Paul and then some people who taught that they can just us the name of Jesus…; after all they say the name is available to all; some said, we saw casting out demons in the name of Jesus, so, they saw a mad man and they said to the devil in him, devil come out. The devil said, Jesus I know; Paul I know – I know Paul is connected to Jesus, he is married to Jesus, he can use the name of Jesus and it will work for him – and he said, but who are you? And he gave them thorough beating. When you go into the church or registry to be married, the moment you said I do to your husband, whether you know it or not from that moment onward you are married and the marriage is recognized all over the world. If you come out of that church and you said afterall, all I said is I do, it does not mean anything: I have not increase in height; my complexion has not change; it is me who went in that is coming out and therefore you go and marry another person, they will send you to prison. Because you had already said: I do. The moment you say I do to Jesus Christ, the colour of your skin my not change, your height may not change but you are already marry to Jesus and you know what, Satan recognizes the fact that you are now married. We used to sing a song: I am married to Jesus, Satan leave me alone… How many of you know the song? You want to sing it for me? I am married to Jesus Satan leave me alone I am married to Jesus Satan leave me alone My husband is coming to take me away To His…   The moment you say I do, you have a new name. I will tell you a story; some of you have heard it before. When was I a Lecturer at the University of Lagos, one of my students came to me one day; as matter of fact she told her situation to her roommate and the roommate say to her don’t worry I will take you to my Pastor. She said, she had a dream; she was given a lift and in the car there were four men; as soon as she entered, all four of them pulled out guns and they wanted to shut her that was when she woke up sweating and she knew this was not an ordinary dream. So, she ran to someone who was palm-reader and said can you tell me what my dream means. The Palm reader looked at and said: haa! on the 23rd of March you will die. Is there anything I can do about it? The Palm reader said, nothing, it is settled – 23rd of March, you are died. She said, I think I will try somebody else; so, she ran to Babalawo (a oracle man) The oracle man checks here and there and said, Haa! what have you done? She said what do you mean? He said, on the 23rd of March, you will die. Haha! What can I do, so that I won’t die? The Babalawo said, nothing, you will die. So, she said, maybe these people do not know what they are talking about. So, she went to the bar beach to one of the so called prophet there and told him the story. That one rang some bell; roll on the sand and came back and said, on the 23rd of March you will die. You will say how did the three of them know the same date? Well, they heard from their own father. By the time she came back to the campus she was almost mad; that was when the roommate brought her to me and when she began to tell me the story; I was much younger than now; I just began to laugh and that got her more perplexed – she taught I was the one who will execute the judgment. I told her, you give your life to Jesus, you say I do to my God, you will live and you will not die. She gave her life to Jesus Christ. On the 24th of March, she came to see me and say, I am alive. I said, I told you, you will be alive. I want to decree to somebody here today, you will live and you will not die. But then she said something strange happened in the hostel last night: she said, not a single one of the girls in the hostel was able to sleep throughout the night. She said, could you explain that? I said, O yes, the spirit of death came looking for you but you have a new name – they were looking for the fellow with the old name. I decree today, every evil looking for the fellow with your old name, will miss their way. When you give your life to Jesus, you become married to him and you get a new name. Number two) Not only will you get a new name, you get a new accommodation. Before you got married you are living in your father’s house; the day you marry, you go to your husband’s house – there is a change of accommodation. Colossians chapter 1 verse 12 to 13 says, you are translated out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of His dear son. When you say I do to Jesus, you are translated; you change residence. Ephesians chapter 2 verse 6 says you now become seated in the heavenly places with your husband Jesus Christ Ephesians 1: 19 to 23 says, you become seated with Him far above principalities and powers. When you become married to Jesus Christ, you get to a place where principalities and powers cannot reach you, you are far above them; you are translated out of darkness into light. Many of you will remember the story, I have told you again and again of a woman who was in the city of Ilorin and had this peculiar sickness that whenever you switch on electricity, instead of the appliance working, the current will be flowing through her – You know the story. You switch on the fan instead of the fan rotating, the woman will be rotating You switch on electric iron, instead of the iron getting hot, the woman will be getting hot. That was the situation when they came to call us and I told them…; because in the house she lives you there not put on the light; …give your life to Jesus Christ, you will be translated out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. She gave her to Jesus; prayed a simple prayer – we switch on the light, the light came up; we switch on the fridge, the fridge began to work; we switch on the electric iron, the electric iron began to work. When you give you life to Jesus Christ, you are translated. And to any of you who might still be living under the influence of forces of darkness, I am decreeing to you tonight, you shall be translated. And then number three) When you get married, you get a new name; you get a new accommodation; and you get new responsibilities. Your husband has new responsibility to you, he is now your husband. It is his duty now to provide for your needs. Philippians 4: 19 tells us that my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. He provides for your body. 1Peter 2 verse 24: once you are married to Him, by His stripes you become heal – you cannot be married to the doctor and remain sick – you cannot be married to the great Physician and he won’t take care of your body. He takes care of your soul – Mathew 1: 21 says you shall call His name Jesus for He shall save His people from their sins. He takes care of your spirit because you are made up of body, soul and spirit. He takes care of spirit because even according to Mathew chapter 3 verse 11 the Bible says He will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire. Your husband begins to supply all your needs but then you now have a responsibility: you begin to cook his food; you begin to keep the house clean; you begin to do whatever he asked you to do; you have your own responsibilities as a wife. If he asked you not go out now, you cannot go out because he is now your husband. That is why Jesus Christ said in Mathew 11 verse 28 to 30, He said, come onto me all ye that labour and heavy laden and I will give you rest – come and marry me and I will take over. He said, if you are marrying me, you must take my yoke upon you and learn of me. But you know what He said: He said, My yoke is easy, My burden is light – marry me, I will take over your yoke; I will take over your burden and you take My own: My own is easy; My burden is light. By refusing to give your life to Jesus Christ, you are cheating yourself and that is why I want to give you opportunity tonight before we go to Abba Father Part Three. If you have not yet given your life to Jesus Christ, come and do so. You are not a Christian because your name is Enoch or Mary or Joseph or Elizabeth. You are not a Christian because you go church. You are not a Christian because you sing in the choir. Let me tell you, the original choir master in heaven was Satan before he fell. Thank God there are no demons among my choir. But until you say I do to Jesus; until you become married to Him, you cannot get a new; you cannot get the accommodation of light; you cannot get in taking care of all your situations. But if you say I do to Him, He gives you a new name recognized in heaven, recognized in hell; He translate you from darkness into His own kingdom of light; He begins to take care of you as you begin to obey Him. So, if you are here and say I did not have understanding like this before but now I do.  I want to say I do to Jesus Christ; I want Him to become my husband; I want to marry Him; I will obey Him in  all things; I will do whatever He ask me to do and anything He says He does not want me to do according to His word I won’t do. If you want to give your life to Jesus Christ, I will count from one to ten; before I say ten, come and stand before me so that I can pray for your salvation and then your name will change and you become a child of God; your accommodation will change from darkness to light; your responsibilities will change, you will no longer serve Satan you will be serving Jesus Christ So, if anybody is here, you want to give your life to Jesus, come now as I begin to count. One, two, Come on clap for these new brides of Jesus Christ; the church of God is called the bride of Christ, Jesus is our husband. Three…, Come and say I do to Jesus today; let there be a wedding ceremony here tonight as you become a bride of Jesus Christ Four, five…; And those of you at the viewing centers just go towards the altar there, go towards the screen, the Pastors there will attend to you, my prayer here will reach you over there. Six, seven, eight… Those of you already in front begin to pray; call on him. And those of you on the way pray as you come: Jesus save my soul, I want to become part of Your bride. Save my soul; become my husband; I will serve You from now on. Forgive all my sins and be my husband from now on and forever – I will serve You. I want a new name, a new name written down in glory; I will serve You. Keep coming those of you on the way; Nine… And the rest of us please let us stretch our hands towards them and pray for them that the Almighty God will save their souls; that He will forgive all their sins; that they will become part and parcel of the bride of Christ. Intercede for them brethren for about two minutes. Those of you on the way keep coming you are not late yet just make sure you get here before I finish praying. Keep coming. Keep coming and pray as you come: Jesus I have come to surrender my life to You, save my soul and I will serve You, I will serve You for the rest of my life. I will take Your yoke upon me Lord; I will learn of You; I will obey You, be my Saviour and be my Lord and I will serve You for the rest of my life. Those of you on the way hurry up now because I am about to pray for salvation. Make sure you get here before I finish praying. And brethren let us intercede for one more minute that the One who saved our souls will save their own souls; that the Almighty God will begin to take care of them from now on; that He will forgive their sins; He will become their Saviour and become their Lord. Thank You Jesus. Those of you still on the way hurry up, I am about to pray now. And Counselors could you please come here and attend to them here, there are quite a number of them now. Counselors please move smartly and come even as I pray. And if you are coming to give your life to Jesus just keep coming, get here before I finish praying. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Our Father and our God we just want to say thank You for Your word, thank You for an opportunity to have a brand new name; thank You for the opportunity to have a brand new accommodation; thank You for the opportunity to have someone who will now be carry our responsibilities, please accept our worship in Jesus’ name. I commit all these Your children into Your hands please receive them in Jesus’ name; save their souls; let Your blood wash away their sins; write their new name in the Book of Life; and Lord God Almighty, don’t let them ever go back into sin; and from now on any time they call upon You answer them by fire; and let them serve You till the end and I pray that in Your kingdom none of them will be missing. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen. Those of you who have come forward tonight to surrender your life to Jesus Christ: welcome to part of the bride of Christ – congratulations. Let me hear you shout hallelujah. Now, because of you according to the word of God, Jesus is dancing in heaven because you have increase in number of His bride and I rejoicing with you because from now on I will be praying for you. So, I am going to need your names, your address and your prayer requests. Romans chapter 8 verse 15: ‘For ye have not received the spirit of bondage to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba Father.’ Father is a title not a name; it means several things. It has a lot of things implied in that title – Father. It is just like when you say someone is president: you also call him Head of State; you also call him Commander-in-Chief; you also call him First Gentleman. And so because we have children among us we will try and be very brief tonight so that we will come to anointing them with oil before it is too late. But Father means: Number one) Sources or Origin Isaiah 51 verses 1 and 2: God was talking to the children of Israel and He said remember Abraham your father, remember the rock from which you are hewn; remember your origin; remember your source. When you call me Pastor Adeboye, my name is not Adeboye – Adeboye is the name of my father. Mine is Enoch Adejare and one or two or other names, Adeboye is my father. The interesting thing is my children bear Adeboye; their children bear Adeboye – we have a source, an origin. So, the father is the source from which your blessings flow. Genesis 28 verse 10 to 16 – Jacob has just grab the blessing that belong to Esau and he was running away and he fell asleep at a particular spot and God spoke to him and said I AM the God of Abraham your father; God jumped Isaac in between; He went all the way to the source – ‘I AM the God of Abraham your father’ and because of that I will bless you. In the same manner, curses can flow from the sources – from the father to the son. For example, 2Kings 5 verse 20 to 27 – the Bible tells us that when Gehazi lied against Elisha, he pronounced a curse on him and said, the leprosy of Naaman will cleave unto thee and unto thy seed forever. Anyone born in the family of Gahazi will end up a leper; they cannot escape it. That is why in the olden days, at least in Yoruba land, when somebody come to you and he says he want to marry your daughter, you will ask him to go away and come back; you go and investigate his family because if there had been a leper before in that family, sooner or later, leprosy is coming back. If there had been a mad man before in that family, madness is coming back. Today now, science is beginning to talk of sickness and disease that they say are of genetical nature. Father AS; mother AS; it is most likely they will produce an SS; Unless God intervenes like He did in the case of that my beautiful daughter and I rejoice with her. That is why I am saying tonight in the mighty name of Jesus Christ if there is any curse in your generation may it be terminated tonight. I have told you before the story of two men who fought…; and I will try and be brief as possible so that as soon as I feel like I will just stop the sermon so we can continue with what we want to do, after all, Abba Father part four is still coming. Who knows maybe part five will still come. Two men fought and one said to the other: by the time I finish with you nobody will remember you ever came to this world. Two weeks later, the man he fought with died. His children came home to bury him, the first son had just return from Germany with a brand new car; they finish the celebration, the burial, and on their way back, the first son had an accident in his car and died.  They gave the news to the mother; the mother broke down and died. The other children came home to bury their mother, on their way back the next fellow, the oldest among them had an accident and died. These children did not know why they were dying; they were not there when the two fathers were fighting. You have heard the story before, so I don’t need to continue with the story. But you are going to pray a prayer right now; you will stand on your feet and lift your voice to the Almighty God loud and clear and say: Abba Father, I am a member of Your family now and there is no curse in Your family, let there be no more curse in my generation. Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God. I am a member of Your family now, I am child of God and there is no curse in Your family Abba Father, no curse in Your family, let there be no more curse, no more curses in my generation; let there be no more curses in my generation. No more curses Lord in my generation because I am a member of Your family now, let there be no more curses in my own generation. I belong to Your family; I belong to Your family now, no curses in Your generation Daddy, let there be none in my generation from now on. Thank You Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. And so shall it be in Jesus’ name. Father…; please be seated, God bless you; …means Bread Winner, Provider – the one who provides for the family. That is why in my village, I don’t know of other places, at least in the olden days, when some come to you and says he want to marry your daughter, you give him a test – an interesting test. You give him a big bowl of pounded yam and see how much of it he can eat. If he does not eat too much, you don’t give him your daughter. Why? Because you are not sure you will be able to provide. You think those elders are foolish, they know what they are doing. 1Timothy chapter 5 verse 8 says if anyone does not provide for his family, he is worse than an infidel – the father, the Bread winner is to provide for his family. In Mathew chapter 6 verse 9 to 11 – when Jesus Christ was teaching the Disciple to pray, He said, this is how you should pray: our Father which art in heaven…; and as I told those of you who came to holy communion last night, God is a family man, He is a Father. After He said hallowed be thy name, He said, give us this days our daily bread…  Papa, fulfill your role! Aren’t you happy God is your father? Because Philippians 4:19 says my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Believe me honestly, if you allow Him to do it, it is the duty of the father to produce a wife for his son. It is that now, sons have become far far sophisticated than their father. But in Genesis chapter 24 verse 1 to the end, it was Abraham who said, it is time Isaac should have a wife and he make the arrangements. The only thing Isaac did was that he went for a stroll, saw a woman the servant of a servant was bringing, grab the woman, move into his father’s tent and that was the end of the story. And if you read Judges chapter 14 verse 1 to 3 you will see that Samson said to his father, I have seen a woman that I like get her for me. It is the duty of the father to even provide his son a wife. The beautiful thing about our heavenly Father, Abba Father, is that He is more than enough to meet all your needs. Genesis 17 verse 1 calls Him Jehovah El-shaddai, the God who is more than enough. I tell you a story very quickly. A woman was having a problem paying her rent and her old mother was living with her blind (the old woman was blind) and the Landlord came and say I give you three days to pay my rent or you and your old mama will be thrown to the street. The lady turned to the Almighty God and said, you are my Father, there is no way I can get this money within now and three days; even if You are not going to think of me, think of my blind mother; I commit everything to You. The money of the third day came. She had prayed all night so she fell asleep. When she woke up she started smelling food being prepared in the kitchen. Who is cooking in my kitchen? She got up and saw mama. Mama said, when you are sleeping God opened my eyes. The woman said, God open your eyes! Yeah If He can open your eyes, He will pay the rent. She went to collect her mail and found that a relative died somewhere – a relative they have not heard about for a long time and has sent a check more than enough even to buy the house. There is a God who can heal, who can provide, who can set free. Stand on your feet and cry unto Him and say: Abba Father, there is no poverty in Your family, don’t let me lack. Go ahead talk to the Almighty God. Abba Father, You are the All sufficient God, there is no poverty in Your family, I am a member of Your family now, don’t let me lack, don’t let me lack; don’t let me lack; don’t let me lack. O Father, there is no poverty in Your family and I am a member of Your family Lord, don’t let me lack, don’t let me lack; don’t let me lack. Abba Father, don’t let me lack. Don’t let me every lack again. Don’t let me lack for health; don’t let me lack for joy; don’t let me lack for peace; don’t let me lack for money; don’t let me lack there is no lack in Your family, no poverty in Your family and I am a member of Your family; I am a member of Your family, don’t let me ever lack again; don’t let me ever lack again. Thank You Father. Glory be to Your holy name Lord. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. And so shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. Father also means Teacher. Father is the teacher; particularly if you are a son you will understand that. Most of the things I learnt about life, I learnt from my daddy – he taught me several things. He is the one for example who told me that once a lion wakes up in the morning, he prays a prayer to God: God, show me the animal I will eat today and leave the two of us alone – don’t help me; don’t help the animal. Now that I became a Christian I realize that if the devil ever prays, he will probably say God, show me the Christian I will destroy today and leave the two of us alone. I pray that God will never leave you alone.      Genesis 18 verse 17 to 19 … Thank You Father. The Lord ask me to tell you a story; some of you probably heard the story several years ago; it was about a man who went with his wife and his daughter on a boat cruse  – I mean they went in their little boat – sailing In the middle of the sea they had an accident, the boat capsized and the man was the only one who could swim. So he held the wife on one hand, the daughter on another hand and he was swimming to the shore. After sometimes he became tired because he was swimming only with his leg and he concluded – saw clearly – if he is ever to get to the shore he has to drop somebody. He dropped the daughter and swam to shore with his wife. But for the rest of his life the cry of the daughter kept on agonizing him. The Lord asks me to tell somebody here today, He said, I will carry you and carry your children. Genesis 18 verse 17 to 19 – the Almighty God said, I know Abraham that he will teach his children to follow in his footsteps – ‘I know Abraham, I know he will teach his children’ You know, Proverbs 22 verse 6 says: train up a child in the way he should go, when is old he won’t depart from it. It is the duty of you parents to train your children particularly in the way of the Lord. The teachers in the school have their own role, probably to teach them A, B, C; you are the one to teach them morals, teach them the way of the Lord. Ask my children they will tell you when will go and fishing whether in December or in April and take these children along, the purpose of my taking them along is to teach them because as we go on the way I begin to teach them proverbs, big proverbs of our fathers. Train up a child; the role of a father is to teach the children. In Psalm 32 verse 8, the Almighty God said I will instruct you, I will teach you. In Psalm 18 verse 34, David said, he taught my hand to war – he taught me how to fight. Let me assure you of one thing, no matter how clever you are, it is when God begins to teach you that you begin to excel. When God teaches you, you have wisdom that will excel that of your Professors, your Instructors. When you have God as your Father, as your Teacher you will excel. Again I have told you several time before, I think it was way back in 1976 when I attended World Conference of Applied Mathematicians; we came all from all over the world; there were only two people from Nigeria that went to represent the country. I was a very small boy; of course you know how old I will be in 1976. On the opening day, the man who gave the first talk had written more than one hundred and fifty publications and when he began to talk to us, he began to talk about mathematics of the rain. I looked at myself I said God what am I doing here – at that time I have probably written about twelve or so publications. So I prayed to God throughout the night: God when it is time to present my paper, don’t let this man come. When I got there, he was the first fellow seating right in front of me because he wanted to know what is this small boy going to say. But God spoke through me. By the time I finish presenting my paper they all got up and clapped because Daddy taught me. I still remember the time like yesterday because after we finished and we were drinking tea and one of the big Professors came to me and say: oh, that was a wonderful job you have done. I said yes sir. He said, don’t you think you could have arrived at the result faster if you use vector analysis instead of complex analysis? I said, O yes, O yes, I was thinking about that too. Stand on your feet and lift your voice to the Almighty God and say: Abba Father, teach me and my children to excel. Open and talk to the Almighty God. Teach us to excel Lord, teach us to excel. Teach me to excel; teach my children to excel. Teach us to excel in the mighty name of Jesus. Teach us to excel. Teach us to excel. Teach us to excel. Thank You Father. Teach me and my children to excel in everything; teach us to excel; teach us to excel; teach us to excel; teach us to excel. Let us excel at home, excel in the church, excel in office, excel in our studies, excel in our career, teach us to excel. Father, teach us to excel. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. And so shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. The word Father also means Friend – Friend of the child of course; it does not mean friend of everybody – friend of the child. As a matter of fact, it is when you are close to your father that you call him Abba, Daddy, Popsy, or any other name just to show affection. In Genesis 37 verse 3 to 4 you see what we are talking about. The father of Joseph loved him; he gave him coat of many colours. Father – loving In Genesis 22 verse 1 to 2… Haa! thank You Father. I feel like jumping Hallelujah I feel like jumping The Lord asks me to tell you within the next three months he will open many wombs. Hallelujah Father. He said so that there will be many more children here next year. Thank You Daddy.       Genesis 22 verses 1 and 2 – God said to Abraham take your son Isaac, your only son Isaac whom thou lovest A true father is a friend of the children. In Mathew chapter 3 verse 17, the Father in heaven spoke and said concerning Jesus: this is my beloveth son in whom I am well pleased Father is a friend, a friend of his child. Now, if your father loves you that one has some serious implications: Implication number one) Romans 8:31 – if God be for us who can be against us? That is why a father is also a Defender I don’t have the time to look into that one in detail. But a father, a father will defend his child against anything or anybody; he will risk his own life to protect a child. However, because we don’t have much time; …in Hebrews chapter 12 verse 5 to 11, tells you: whatsoever the Father loves, He chastens. If your father is really your friend, he will keep on correcting you – at times by force – so that you may turn out right. I thank the Almighty God today that by His grace my children have turn out right. But they will tell you in private that this father is very loving but he can be tough; he can be tough. Why? Because the desire of the father is that…; a good father, the desire of a good father is at least the child will be like himself if not better. My prayer for all of you is that your children will be greater than you. The Bible says in Proverbs 29 verse 15, said, a child left to himself will bring shame. If you leave your to himself, say, do whatever you like and you are not going to correct the child; haha, shame is coming. So, many of you parents now who have become more sophisticated that you don’t want to correct your children any more – Oh oh! Wait and see. And the more the father loves you and the more he corrects you – the more closely he monitors you. Some of you think your parents are too strict, you little children you think your parents are too strict, they seem to be hindering your freedom – it is because they don’t want you to get burnt. I have told you the story before. We were going to dig some pit in our first camp ground – two pits – one for women, one for the elder.  And we hired one huge Hausa man to help us do digging and you know these people who can dig, their hands can be as tough as iron. We reach an agreement with the Surveyor: it was in the day of feet and yards and we agreed on 60feets by 6feets which is approximately 20meters by 2meters. We got to the first place and he began to measure instead of measuring in feet he was measuring in meters. I saw it, my Father in heaven spoke to me and said, correct him. I said, no Lord – if he does not know the different between meter and feet, let him pay for it. God kept quite. We got to the second place, he began to measure in meter again and God said correct him I said no Lord; I don’t know what school of Survey he went to. If he does not know the different between meter and feet let him pay for it and God kept quite. As soon as he finished measuring and I turn to go, this huge Hausa man who was going to dig smiled at me and said, megida and stretch forth his hand to shake my hands and I wanted to equalize so I took his hand. As soon as I took his hand he began to squeeze my hand – I mean his hand was like iron. (You can laugh because it is not your hand that was being squeezed) It was as if he was going to break my bone… Lord, help me. And God said, I told you to correct him I will! I will! I will! And the hausa man release my hand. I turned to the surveyor, I corrected him. By now, my hand was burning like fire. As I was going back to my car, I was grumbling: Lord, the punishment is too much for the offence. He said, son, I have told you, you are special to me, I will tolerate no nonsense from you. Stand on your feet, cry onto the Almighty God and say: Abba Father, if I offend You, correct me but please don’t leave me alone. Go ahead talk to the Almighty God. If I offend You Abba Father correct me, correct me, don’t leave me alone; don’t leave me alone. Don’t leave alone, don’t leave me alone at all, I know you love me; so, if I offend You correct me, correct me, don’t leave me alone, I don’t want to become a son that will bring shame, don’t leave me alone to myself. If I offend You, correct me Lord. I want to be special to You, I don’t want You to tolerate any nonsense with me, if I offend You, correct me but please don’t leave me alone; don’t leave me alone. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. And so shall it be in Jesus’ name. Please be seated. I will take just one more and then I will round up. Father also means Adviser – the one who counsels; the one who can tell his child this is what to do when there is need for direction. If you read 1Kings chapter 2 verse 1 to 4 before David died he called Solomon and began to advice. As a matter of fact, you can read the whole chapter; read the whole chapter, you will find it very interesting. He said, David that the promises of God for me may be fulfilled through you, follow my footstep: serve the Lord; obey Him – good advice. One of the names of our heavenly Father is Counselor. Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6: ‘…and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor’. Counselor is someone who gives advice; who counsels; who guides. And in Daniel chapter 2 verse 20 to 22… Haa! thank You Father. I know this will be a night to remember. The Lord asks me to reconfirm that this year there will be many weddings. You know why? Because many weddings will lead to many children Glory be to God. Daniel 2 verse 20 to 22 says God give wisdom to the wise. And in James chapter 1 verse 5, the Bible says, if anybody lack wisdom, he should ask God – ask Your Father, His wisdom is superior to your own wisdom According to 1Corithians chapter 1 verse 19 to 25, he made it clear to us: the foolishness of God is even wiser than the wisdom of men. Father, Adviser: when you need advice, ask Him; when you don’t know what to do, turn to Abba Father. I have told you a story. I was invited to Maiduguri several years ago to come and preach at the University by the few Christian that were there then. I went; I prepared very hard; I preached with all my heart; I made the altar call; only one fellow came forward. One! I was very sad because I know what happen in the side I travelled all the way here! I fasted! I prayed! I studied Your word! One fellow! That night I turned to the Almighty God, I turned to my Counselor, my Adviser. What should I do? What was it that I should have done that I did wrong? How do I continue? Fortunately we still have the following date – two more days And my Counselor gave me an advice that had nothing to do with the Bible at all. He said when you wake up in the morning go and get good Babariga…; you know I went like this, dress like my normal something; …go and get a good Babariga and when you want to preach tomorrow, wear babariga. So I woke up, I asked the people who invited me: how can we get a Babariga? They said, there are people who can do it in two hours. So, we went to a market we got Babariga. The following evening I wore Babariga. As I was climbing the altar to preach and they saw me in Babariga  they all began to shout. The student who were outside were wondering what are they shouting about, so, they came to the window; they did not come in, they stood by the window and they saw this man preaching in Babariga . When I made the altar from the outside, eight-nine people came to give their life to Jesus. What has Babariga got to do with the gospel? Eh en, don’t use your brain when you are trying to understand things of God, He knows best; far far better than you can know. So, you are going to stand up, you are going to pray…; maybe the last prayer before we go to the anointing Lift your voice to the Almighty God and say: Father, guide me into my breakthrough. Go ahead talk to the Almighty God. Guide me; guide me, guide me, You are my Adviser, guide me. Guide me Almighty God; guide me into my breakthrough; tell me what to do so that I will succeed. Tell me, tell me what to do; tell me what to do; tell me what to do; Almighty God tell me what to do; guide me for the rest of my life; guide me step by step, step by step what I am to do. Guide me to my breakthrough. You guided Peter so he knew where to fish, guide me; guide me step by step; tell me what to do to succeed.
