NFL Announces New Rules To Tackle Lack Of Diversity In Its Coaching, Executive Ranks

The NFL has set protocols for reopening team facilities, a process that begins as early as Tuesday. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is shown here speaking in Miami in February.

The NFL expanded the Rooney Rule on the same day teams were allowed to reopen practice facilities if area regulations allowed. Team facilities were shut in late March out of COVID-19 concerns.
