The Boston Marathon kicks off in its first spring race since the pandemic started

Runners cross the starting line of the 125th Boston Marathon last fall in Hopkinton, Mass. The Boston Marathon returns on Monday.

The prestigious race is returning to its springtime spot for the first time since the pandemic began, after a cancelation in 2020 and a postponement to the fall in 2021.
