| Complete Financial Report For The Structural Work On The Otukpo Library Renovation Project |
The Otukpo library renovation project commenced over a year ago and we have successfully completed the structural work as promised. While we may have the furnishing and restocking of the library left, this new building will also require new sets of ceiling fans and air conditions, since we made provision for airconditions to be fixed in the newly furnished library.
It will cost the sum of One Million, nine hundred and eighty eight thousand naira (1,988,000) to provide new sets of furniture to the entire sections of the library (from the quotation of the carpenter). It has also been broken down in such a manner that would be simple for anyone who is willing to take up any aspect of the task and we are willing to work with them to achieve this task as soon as possible.
We ran to you on the social media, held series of meetings with stakeholders and other donors who are not on the social media space. We also had members of our community volunteered their time, resources, talent and skills whenever we needed them. All these efforts were made for the sake of the next generation and the need to improve on literacy in our community.
On behalf of the entire team, I thank everyone of you who has made the renovation phase a success. While we continue to thank you for all you have done so far, we pray that God almighty touches the heart of those who have also made pledges to redeem them so we can quickly complete the other aspect of the work (restocking with new books and furnishing).
